In comes the sheets that will decide what we’re doing for sport the whole term. We spend a dreaded two hours on Monday afternoon playing sport. Hideous waste of time.
I’m afraid this is one of the more boring subjects. Though the teacher tells great stories. Today was about the power of the mind (and a lot of revision.) He told us a story about a man who was bitten by a poisonous snake 13 times, but thought it was barbed wire. So the man in the story started feeling a little off and went and visited the neighbour. The neighbour saw the problem and took him to hospital, while the man said, “Nah, it was just barbed wire.” In the end, he should have been dead, but wasn’t, all because he didn’t think he would. Creepy, I know.
