Yep. My first manuscript, Letter to Elizabeth, now has a book trailer.
There are some traditions we’ve started. When we finish a book, we get to do a “book in so-many pictures” (mine is in 10 pictures here). And a book trailer.
I had no idea how to make a trailer for my war book. I don’t watch war movies. They’re boring. And cliche. Or at least that’s what I thought until I watched Gallipoli in English and we were all practical bawling afterwards
(out of nervousness for the following math test.) But that’s beside the point.
I’m not the hugest fan of modern history. One, it’s creepy because of that little word; Modern. And two, tico, taco ra-ra-ra, it’s all the same! Someone’s unhappy, we have the Boer War. Someone else’s unhappy. World War I. The Great Depression. World War II. The Vietnam War. So basically, in modern history, everyone’s depressed and hates each other.
So instead of making a trailer myself, I let Cait. And she had a great time. And she’s seriously good at it.
And so I present Letter to Elizabeth Official Author’s-Sister-Made Trailer. (It’s like a fan-made trailer, but…well, she’s my sister.)
