As usual, I have been poking. And writing. And having my nephew tip sand all through my hair (don’t underestimate the itchiness of that feeling). And I have been reading Huckleberry Finn in preparation for Banned Book Week. That is the only one not working out so well. But I still have time! I can still do it!
So, as you may have gathered, next week (starting tomorrow) is Banned Book Week. And we plan to celebrate it with a bang! here at the notebook sister’s blog. We have two frabjous guest posters, an intriguing review, a banned-booky SOC sunday, and a brillig quote. We’d give away a book, but, well, they’re banned.
|Yes. It is Monty Python. My sense of humour isn’t that freaky.|
We’ll be away a few days, so replies to comments could be a little slow.
And you can check out my second 100 for 100 week over at TWiG. A lot of exciting writing going on in our square of Australia. mime’s book is zooming…into existence. And mine is zooming…out of existence. But in a good way! I have hit the coveted halfway mark and it’s all downhill (literally for my poor characters) from here.
