I’m linking up for Snippets of a Story, June Edition, so here you will see some spits and spats of my writing. Mostly the humorous ones. Firstly, it might be good to know that Eva is my present endeavour, Basyl was my last, and I haven’t written Knights of Callaliel for so long it’s all obsolete, though somewhat entertaining. Basyl took on Aalyiah’s character, you see, but I won’t go into the “between books” politics.
This is my fantasy work, Basyl, named for the main character. I got quite far before I decided it needed to be scrapped. This is one of my favourite parts. Speaking of names, all unusual names in this post are mine, so for copyright sakes, they’re untouchable.
Eva is science-ficiton come fantasy. These snippets are from a normal Australian town, before anything unusual happens, just incase you’re confused.
I started Knights of Callaliel a long time ago. It moved from being a carbon copy of Ranger’s Apprentice to something with an element of originality, but it’s not on the writing schedule for a while… I have a climax, but the characters are to harem-scarum. Besides, as I remind myself, I’m working on something else.
