I went a little crazy this January…I read 20 books. I know! Not normal (for me, anyway). But February (unless I procrastinate out of it) is writing month. Wish me luck, okay?
I’m on a library ban for February because every time I go I borrow way too many books. But if I happen to ignore my own advice and sneak library visits on the sly, nobody tell on me.
I’m linking up with Tynga’s Reviews for the meme Stacking The Shelves! Basically: you recount books you’ve won/bought/collected this week.
I borrowed this one before, but the library demanded it back (or else). This time I’ll actually read it!
My library has an e-collection! I didn’t know! And their collection is FABULOUS. Want to know the downside? (Yeah, yeah, Miss Raincloud, I know.) They’re only available in epub format and I have a Kindle. I have to read them on my computer (which I really hate doing). It’s all very tragic. I probably won’t borrow ebooks from the library again.
But I am pretty dang excited for Miss Peregrine’s!
Okay. Can I just take a moment? TO UTTERLY FREAK OUT AND FANGIRL?! CRESS! OH CRESS! I was beyond excited and amazing and lucky and happy to receive an ARC of Cress. And you know what? I’ve got twoooo copies (I feel a giveaway coming very soon to a blog near you). Thank you Penguin Australia! (PS. I really love you guys.)
I’ve already read Cress and I’ll be reviewing it on the 4th! (Release day!) Sneak peek? IT WAS AMAZING.
Nymph and The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender (I love that title, by the way) are from Walker Books Australia (thank you so much!). I’m not 100% sure I’ll love Nymph. But I’m over the moon about the Ava Lavender cover and title!
Monday – Happy Australia Day! The giveaways still running, so don’t forget to enter!
