NO MORE LIBRARY.
It’s hard. It’s tempting. But I must resist! The trouble is, I go to the library every Thursday while I babysit…and how can I help it if I return with 5 or 60 books? It’s not my fault. It just happens. But I’m promising myself I will not reserve anymore books until I’ve eaten these ones. Oh nom nom my beautiful books…
OH! And we also have a giveaway going for Rebel (Reboot #2) by Amy Tintera! Enter! Enter!
I couldn’t resist! All my notes are song lyrics! Mostly Disney, I admit, because I’m extremely cultured like that. You get bonus points and virtual cake if you can guess them.
Thanks to Scholastic for Broken Strings! This was a fabulous surprise. I love music. And I love strings. (Woodwind is evil, okay? I just is.)
I bought Hunger second-hand for $3, which I am oh-so-happy about. Now I own 3 in the series. I adore the socks off this series. Just so you know.
Thanks Anne and Ashley @ Lovely Literature for Seraphina and The Ocean At the End of the Lane! I won their giveaway and I’m practically squeaking with joy because I was just telling Mime she needed to read Seraphina! Now I can throw it at her! (Well, nicely, because it is hardcover and I don’t want Mime dead, just well read.)
And look at this. Just look at my library books. I’ve had most of these on hold for months, waiting patiently for the library to give them to me. SO I GET THEM ALL AT ONCE? Why? Why. I’ve borrowed An Abundance of Katherines (my last John Green book to read apart from the co-authored ones!) and Butter and Of Triton and The Coldest Girl in Coldtown (very excited because I haven’t read much Holly Black…and she’s famous) and Alice in Zombieland (though I can’t see how it could beat Splintered) and The Program and Taken and The Enemy (which I saw for the first time on The Midnight Garden and therefore had to try).
If you need me, I will be buried under books.
