Since I borrowed 8 books last week (yeah, yeah, we all know I have a little obsession with books), I kept calm this week. Mostly calm.
But when I wasn’t being calm, I launched a linkup! It’s most likely a once off…but so many of you requested it, and I am nothing if not a slave to my blogglings (kidding. Chocolate first. Blogglings second). It’s a What Does the Cover Say (not the fox) linkup, for interpreting book cover art. And you should laugh. Uproariously.
Oh! And last week’s poll of what-should-I-read-next: The Raven Boys won! So I read it! It was fabulous!
I’m linking up with Tynga’s Reviews for the meme Stacking The Shelves! Basically: you recount books you’ve won/bought/collected this week.
Oh my goooosh! You have no idea how excited I am to buy The Selection by Kiera Cass! It was $3 at the op-shop (thrift store or second-hand store or whatever-other-name-you-might-call-it-overseas)!! THREE DOLLARS! It’s in perfect condition too. I don’t think it’s been read!!
Amazing and Knowledgable Book Bloggers! If you have a second, advice, please? What do you do when you receive a sequel ARC and you haven’t read the first??
Thanks, Allen & Unwin, regardless! It does look delicious. (I looove zombies.)
Monday – Cait reviewed The Selection. (Spoiler: she loved it.) Now you can see why she’s so excited to own a copy!
Tuesday – Cait turned 20. Very old. But she did eat ice cream and drown in a lake.
Wednesday – Mime talked about patronising children in kids books. Don’t do it.
Thursday – Rebellious Cait reads books her friends don’t like.
Friday – And Level 2 didn’t have the best story, but the writing was awesome!
Saturday – What Does the Cover Say? link up began! Goes for a week! Get in while you can!
