Oh, frabjous blogglings, we will be GONE for the next few days. What is the reason for this horror of horrors?
Our internet kicked the bucket.
Bit the dust.
Cashed in the chips.
Came to a sticky end.
Fell off the perch.
Became food for worms.
Visited Davy Jones’ Locker.
Jumped off the deep end.
Took a long walk off a short pier.
Hopped the twig.
Is six-feet under.
Went to sleep with the fishes.
Yeah, it died. Indefinitely died. Which means we must journey across dangerous, dark and creepy, and zombie-infested road (5-minutes across our suburb) to our sister’s house to leech her internet. Which isn’t impossible, except that our 2 year old nephew thinks we he should have a turn blogging. He’d have a lot to say.
For instance. While building a block tower, I casually said (as I do), “Mime looks like a wombat.” This is normal.
Our nephew said, “No, Cait. She looks like a Hulk!”
Well, well. I AM proud of my little man. His sense of humour is coming along quite nicely (I’m culturing it). I have never called Mime a Hulk, mostly because she’s too busy calling me one, so he invented it all on his onesome.
But back to the original topic (what can I say? SQUIRREL). For the next few days, we’ll be absentee. A few book review posts will go up (I hope you enjoy them!) and the blog will be back in full swing ASAP!
I’ve challenged author Em Garner to a game of Truth or Dare over at YAvengers. She chose Dare. Hulk did delicious things. (Mwhaha.)
In August, we’ll be hosting a spot on the blog-tour for RELIC by Renee Collins! (I read an eARC of this and it. was. awesome.)
On the 25th of July, we’re showing off the new cover of L.M. Augustine’s soon-to-be-released novel, TWO ROADS. (This is one fabulous looking cover…)
In our internet absence we expect to read lots of books! Cait has just finished RESILIENT and is starting on CITY OF BONES. Mime is on a Roald Dahl chewing-session. She’s finished MATILDA and is onto CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY.
See you soon, blogglings! (You guys are epic! Just so you know.)
