I am not talking about books today.
It’s okay, I’ll give you a minute to let that sink in. Take as long as you need (but do hurry up). Sometimes I do things other than read. As long as it involves a good story, right?
I’m linking up with The Broke and the Bookish for their incredibly awesome meme: Top Ten Tuesday. This is a meme involving lists, peoples. LISTS! I love lists.
This week’s prompt is: Top 10 Movies/TV shows. I don’t actually watch a lot of movies anymore. I love them, but they’re so darn long. 3 hours?! Really? I’m opposed to doing one thing for that long. But I do love movies because they’re really a form of art and storytelling.
1. Sherlock Holmes

I’m cheating. (Already.) I mean both the Sherlock TV series and the Sherlock movies staring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. You know what I really, really love? Intelligence. It’s fantastic and should be used more. But the details in these shows! The microscopic plot twists that are set up and then unravelled for you! The mysteries! The really really annoying geniuses.
I love annoying geniuses. I probably am one see? Yes, I’m very smart, I used to play the violin, and Mime is my Watson.
See? I promise you, Mime even uses that Watson-face on me.
2. The Avengers series
ALL OF THEM. You can’t possibly make me pick…actually, you can. I will. Iron Man wins. And, do you want to know the secret that might destroy your opinions of me? I can’t stand Captain America. Have you seen Fantastic Four? He’s the Human Torch! Stupid, bratty, little-brother Johnny. How can he be the Human Torch AND Captain America?
Iron Man, on the other hand, is brilliant. And coincidentally Sherlock Holmes on his days off…

3. Star Trek
Okay, okay! See? I will put different actors on this list! (Oh wait that…Sherlock and Khan…whatever. I tried.)
But putting aside that I only watch movies with 3 different actors, I would also like to point out the glorious hilarity that is Star Trek. I love humour in books and in movies, I crave it just the same. Make me laugh, mortals, make me laugh.
Also: Mime and is Spock to my Kirk. Or perhaps she’s Bones to my Scotty? Either way, we have a lot of fun quoting it to each other.
4. The A-Team
Remember I said I like intelligent movies? This is exactly what I mean! Movies with mystery and mind-blowing plots and plans that come together. Add a bit of humour into that and I’m done. I’ll love it. I’ve watched The A-Team over 3 times, which I never ever do. (I’m a watch-it-once-and-I’m-done sort of viewer.)
Every single person in this movie is crazy. Absolutely bonkers.
5. The Emperor’s New Groove
I couldn’t miss mentioning this one, could I? This is probably the best kids movie of all time and I wouldn’t say that lightly. It’s funny (gosh, am I being repetitive here?) and entirely quotable. And I feel a keen sense of kindred ship towards Kuzco when he’s a lama. And let’s not forget Kronk! He might just be the most special villain the world has ever known. He bakes. He made coffee.
6. Despicable Me
It’s a toss up between this and Megamind (yes, I love villainous kids movies), but I had to go with Despicable Me because there’s two of them. DOUBLE THE AWESOME. It not only proves that villains have hearts, but also that they have a) good taste in literature, b) take good care of their adopted kids, c) treat their minions well, and d) are painfully honest sometimes.

7. The Prestige
I’d just go ahead and say Batman, but I’m assuming you know I adore Batman. (But I hate Superman, if you wondered.) So I’ll say The Prestige, because never was a movie so messed up. Who was even the worse villain? Again, majorly tricky plots and impressive twists and intelligence. Magic! It’s magical.
Plus, this movie basically stars Batman, Wolverine, The Black Widow, and Alfred. Could there be a more epic cast? It is garenteed to mess with your head.
8. Catching Fire
I admit, I wouldn’t put The Hunger Games on this list. That movie needed a bit of rescuing. But Catching Fire absolutely robbed me of my ability to function. I can’t even, okay? Can’t.
The movie would be fifty times better without Gale, of course, but that’s not sticking to the book. I don’t think there could’ve been a more perfect cast. Everyone, down to Finnick and Johanna…down to President Snow’s granddaughter (who wasn’t even in the book, but who’s 5 minutes on screen will stay with me forever).
How am I doing waiting for Mockingjay Part 1? Not good, but thanks for asking.
9. The Book Thief
No, I haven’t read the book yet…although it is on my TBR and I would’ve read it next but I was sidetracked by Sinner by Maggie Stiefvater. But this movie absolutely astounded me. It made me actually want to cry. I DO NOT CRY IN MOVIES. I am cold hearted, I promise you. This, though? This ruined me.
Also: it’s about books and what’s not to love?
10. Supernatural
For those of you who may not have watched it, this is a horrible little show for very sad little people and don’t start if you value your feels. It’s mostly about what it means to be a family. Again I like to compare Mime and I in this show since it’s about an older brother who bosses his little brother around (and they die and eat pie and drive around arguing). Not that I boss Mime around. You didn’t think that, did you? I know you didn’t.

I feel really bad about this list because I missed so many of my favourites! 10 IS NOT ENOUGH.
I wanted to mention The Help, and Easy A, and Frozen, and Bourne, and The Italian Job, and…and… you get the picture. I am mildly passionate about a lot of great films. I like films because they are entertaining stories and they take SO much more than one person typing away, like a book does. (Well I realise lots of people are involved in a book’s journey. But let’s not get into details.)
I just really like stories, okay?
Cait has missed all the great opening movies of this year. She hasn’t seen The Winter Soldier or Divergent or The Fault in Our Stars or The Amazing Spider Man 2 or the X-Men: Days of Future Past. SHE HAS SEEN NOTHING. This is because cinemas are expensive. You know for the price of a movie ticket, you can buy a whole book and you can keep that book forever and reread it. See her struggles? Currently she’s reading SINNER by Maggie Stiefvater and failing because she’s just. so. darn. happy.
Have you seen Elementary? Because I feel like you should see Elementary. Jonny Lee Miller is BRILLIANT as Sherlock Holmes. Also, I'm totally okay with Chris Evans playing Captain America AND Johnny Storm, because Captain America is MCU and Johnny Storm is Fox, so in my head, they're totally separate universes. Plus, he was SO FREAKING FANTASTIC in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Holy hell, that movie was phenomenal.
No, but now I want to! Because: SHERLOCK HOLMES. I'll take it in any form basically as long as they are solving brilliant mysteries. I love mysteries. Buuuut, Fantastic Four is STILL Marvel! So they're the same in my head. >_< (Although the stretchy dude is also Hornblower which is weird as well. Basically: Fantastic Four is weird.) Aahhhh, STAHP. I still do want to see The Winter Soldier and I haven't and I probably won't get to for ages, and I'm going to sob now, yes.
THE AVENGERS! IRON MAN! AHHHHH. RDJ is perfection as Tony, seriously. There is no Iron Man without him. And I like the science bros thing with him and Mr Hulk Ruffalo hehe. And Supernatural! Castiel and Dean and omg. There are not enough exclamation marks for this post, Cait! Sam though, seriously, he needs to get his sh*t together and quit being so self-righteous. Have you watched the latest episode though? The ending with Dean and Crawley! THIS IS GOING TO BE AMAZE
IRON MAN!!!!! THE BEST AVENGER THERE IS. And it's just doubly true because he's the only one with 3 movies, amirght?! There is not enough exclamation points for Sam/Cas/Dean. SERIOUSLY. Kevin. *sobs a little* Actually, let me sob for everyone. I'll even sob for Meg. I haaaave watched them all and am in withdrawal.
I totally agree, 10 is NOT enough. And Emperor's New Groove is the greatest movie of all time. No arguments.
10 was torture. I feel like I was picking favourites between my kids here.
I LOVE DESPICABLE ME. Is it Disney? I think it's Disney. If so it's covered in the list item "Every Disney movie ever." Yeah, I kind of cheated as well. I also love the Avengers movie – mostly just The Avengers and Iron Man, really. Catching Fire is SO much better than The Hunger Games, and The Book Thief is amazing as well. Too many things to choose from! I wanted to put Easy A on my list as well – love that movie.
No! It's not Disney!!! Which is why it doesn't fit on the Disney-love setting which is why it's haaaard! (Same with Megamind. Seriously. I can't even just use "Disney" to sum up the awesome because there are gems like those out there.) Catching Fire is a kilometre better and I'm just dyyying while I wait for Mockingjay. I have a feeling it'll be Catching Fire level or better. xD Easy A needed a place on my list, but only 10?! Torture.
In no particular order (you should note that I don't tend to obsess over things very much, so this list did take some time. I'm a reluctant fangirl, not a natural 😉 )1. Firefly. The argh-the-it's awesome-I can't even- argh…you can't take the sky from me!2.In the Flesh. *not* a happy, shoot-em-up zombie flick. Best Dead Friends Forever. *sobs*3.Castle. For the sass, and the funny and the don't-do-this-to-my-heart 4. Frozen. Because Elsa. and Let it Go.5. Call the Midwife. 50s style! Attention to detail! Authentic midwife on set! Miranda Hart!6.The Gathering Storm. One of the best 'build up to WWII' portrayals I have seen. Fantastic cast doing a fantastic job.7. Richard III (1995, dir. Richard Loncraine) Richard III set in fascist 1930s style England. Ian McKellen as Richard. And Christopher Marlowe set to jazz. Also very, very, VERY rare.8.Avatar the Legend of Aang. Because who doesn't like a Jasmine-tea wielding former general who wants to open a tea shop?9.Doctor Who. Because despite the many flaws, I still like it. 10. How to Train Your Dragon. Toothless. and amazing flying sequence with heart-stopping music. Also because I went into watching it saying I'd give it FIVE minutes of my time and five minutes only…..and ended up watching it all and came away loving it.
Let it gooooo, let it GOOOO! I love that movie. I maybe know all the words to all the songs which is a worry but I LOVE THAT MOVIE. How to Train you Dragon is also the best. I want to see #2. Have you?!! One fo the best animated movies, right?! (Well, besides Despicable Me. xD) I love your list even though I haven't seen a lot of them, but I have HEARD of most of them!
I think the only things on your list I've watched is The Avengers, and Despicable Me. Who doesn't love having that many minions? I'd love to see either of the Sherlocks some time. I've heard such great things about them. (Seriously though, I need to watch more TV. Look at all the cool stuff I'm missing out on!)
The RDJ Sherlocks are still my top pick because oh gosh, they're just brilliant. He's still my favourite Sherlock. xD Despicable Me is just too funny, right? I'm still laughing at the guacamole hat of sadness.
YAAAS SHERLOCK <3333 I have recently become addicted to that TV series and I am afraid to watch the last ep because then I have to join everyone else in the torturous waiting of 2 years. But it's tempting. I also love Frozen and The Book Thief–catching fire was amazing as well!Awesome list there, Cait! <33
I'm a recent addicted (addictor? whatever too) THERE IS NO HOPE. Although I don't want to join the wailing and gnashing of teeth fandom. Like isn't there 2 years until the next season comes out or something crazy? Help.
Sherlock, yes. In fact, just Benedict Cumberbatch in anything he does, he could read the dictionary out loud and I'd listen and watch, honestly.. *swoons* anyway! There's a few films here that I've not watched and really am considering now, so thank you for that hunny! Despicable Me I agree with, and Robert Downey Jr in himself too, he's pretty fab. Definitely a fan of Batman myself, always disliked Superman too. (Man who has superpowers does not trump guy who lost his parents, had them die in front of him, got sh*t scared by bats and then because badass, kickass fighting putting people away in prison rather than sending them to their death, yes, I said it) Deviated.. great list, I can understand why 10 isn't enough!
"he could read the dictionary out loud…" HEHE. SORRY. I'M JUST LAUGHING BUT PROBABLY AGREEING. I obviously have some actors that are my favourites, because most of these movies star the same people. x) Superman is just, nope. He's all sorts of lame while Batman is AWESOME. I'm actually very devastated they're already replacing Batman. I'm probably not going to watch the new one. I'm loyal to the Christian Bale version. I actually only watched 1/3 of Superman before I nearly fell asleep. I couldn't be bothered seeing the rest.
Cait, if a movie were made of your life, you would be played by Robert Downey Jr. That is all.
Really love your list! I haven't watched The Emperor's New Groove though. That needs fixing.I loved the Sherlock Holmes films but haven't seen the series. Is it really as witty as the movies?Despicable Me is fantastic, but I didn't like the second one, boo.And yay Book Thief! I have read the book and I thought the movie was VERY well done.
Oh Supernatural…… how I love thee ((sigh))Thea @ Gizzimomo's Book Shelf
I absolutely love Captain America! Quite a lot of people don't seem to like him and I feel sorry for him! Avengers is probably one of my favourite films along with Batman; The Dark Knight trilogy :-)Sarah xhttp://www.saraheliza.co.uk/
I did TV shows instead of movies, so we don't have any overlap, but I do appreciate the Sherlock Holmes movies, and Catching Fire and Despicable Me *might* have made my list. Movies was too hard to narrow down, so I went with TV since I don't watch all that much religiously these days. I like Supernatural, but I've never gotten into it like some people. 😀
This is beautiful, and I'm right there with you on so many! Sherlock? YES! Supernatural? Yes! Although I have to say, I really love Megamind. In fact, sometimes my friend will call me Megamind. It's truly a wonderful movie and I don't think I could pick between Despicable Me and Megamind.Love the post!~Sarah Faulkner Inklined
I absolutely loved Catching Fire, it was so much better than the first movie, I'm pretty curious about what will they make out of Mockingjay, that was the saddest book in the trilogy and I hope the movie(s) can make us feel the same feelings as the book did. I'm really looking forward to watch The Book Thief but I feel like I should read the book before I do so. Thanks for stopping by my blog. 🙂
Yay Sherlock BBC!!! I might also be slightly obsessed with that show… Well maybe just a bit more than slightly. I mean Benedict Cumberbatch!! <3 I also like pretty much all the other movies and show you mentioned, not Supernatural though, I value my feels too much to watch that show. 🙂
If anyone values their feels, they need to get away from Supernatural 😛 I've seen my sister suffer through it and whining about how they kill all her favorites. I sometimes even watch with her. 😀 I watched the whole 1st season but fell behind due to reasons while my sister binged watched ahead and then she was on season 4 and I wasn't even done with the season 1 finale so I kind of gave up. That said, DEAN IS HAWT. Sherlock Holmes is basically awesome. I've only seen the BBC series but I love it to BITS AND PIECES. Season 3 wasn't as mind blowing as the first two though *sigh* Plus Mary totally sank my favorite ship. Also not to be someone you want to hit but I haven't seen The Emperor's New Groove *hides* I am going to watch that one soon too (I WATCHED MARY POPPINS).Despicable Me is FABULOUS. I never watched the 2nd one though for reasons but the first one is just pure awesome. YAY FOR EASY A and Frozen! Those are great honorable mentions! :DThanks for sharing, Cait!! :)Rashika @ The Social Potato
CATCHING FIRE! THE BOOK THIEF! EASY A! FROZEN! Basically !!!!!!!. Haha I love this post, I've not watched Despicable Me [I KNOW, I KNOW] But I will. Soon. I hope.Love this post. :)*sings Let It Go because DO I NEED TO HAVE A REASON*P.S Found your blog because of The Mile Long Bookshelf's survey results post AND I LOVE WHAT I SEE. Although. Hashtag very much so jealous yes so much jealous. HOW MANY NOVELS HAVE YOU GUYS WRITTEN? TELL ME YOUR SECRETS. Honestly. I'm crying. I've never finished a novel [only attempted two though…?] BUT, I SWEAR ONE OF YOU IS YOUNGER THAN ME? MAYBE. Idk. You're Australian. How am I meant to know. 😛
NO NO NO I JUST WROTE A COMMENT THEN IT DISAPPEARED I AM SO MAD.*retypes what i can remember of comment left which is not much bc bad memory*CATCHING FIRE! THE BOOK THEIF! EASY A! FROZEN! Basically !!!!! I've not watched Despicable Me yet [I KNOW I KNOW] But I will do soon…*sings Let It Go* because – DO I NEED TO HAVE A REASON?P.S I found your blog through The Mile Long Bookshelf's survey post and I AM LOVING WHAT I SEE. But, hashtag very much jealous a lot much jealous so jealous HOW MANY NOVELS HAVE YOU PEOPLE WRITTEN? I am crying. How. Tell me your secrets. I'VE NEVER FINISHED A NOVEL AND I SWEAR ONE OF YOU IS YOUNGER THAN ME. [can't remember which now. As I said, bad memory.] I think..maybe? aaaand now I see THE FIRST ONE WAS PUBLISHED, *hides in book fort*see what I mean about my bad memory, LOOK HOW DIFFERENT THEY ARE? *cringes*
I love the Despicable Me movies! I've seen each one a bunch of times… and I hope they make a threequel!
I LOVE the Sherlock Holmes movies. I think RDJ and Jude Law might be my favorite Holmes and Watson, though I do love the spin the Sherlock and Elementary shows take on the characters too. Woo! The Avengers! Thor's my favorite, with Iron Man and Cap next in line. (It IS weird to watch Fantastic Four now though. Johnny and Steve are such opposites.) I actually enjoyed The A-Team more than I expected to. A very fun movie with the right amount of action and comedy.Picking favorites is so hard, but I loved reading over your list!
I'm a Trekkie! And I adore the Book Thief. Fun list today. Thanks so much for stopping by. Kelley at the road goes ever ever on
Yes to the Avengers! Yes to Star Trek! I've only seen the old version of Star Trek, though. Awwww man. See, I was about to say YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES to the A-Team, but that looks like a new version. That is not Hannibal, that is not Murdock, that is not Mr. T and that is not Face. They didn't even capture the essence of the original characters in the show at all in that picture for the new version. Face is not like that, if that last character is Face. It doesn't even look like him. I've only seen episodes from the old version of the A-Team and I absolutely love them! I'll stay with the old episodes… I really want to watch Despicable Me and The Book Thief. I went the other way around for The Book Thief. I already read the book, but I haven't seen the movie yet.
Mov….whats? Are they those moving picture thingies?I'm not a movie crier either (high five my fellow coldhearted friend), but I'm so scared The Book Thief will make a liar out of me. But first I must read the book it's like a rule……
My younger sister is also my Watson xD I wonder if it’s an age thing? All the crazy goes to the older sister! CAIT. I’M APPALLED. HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE CAPTAIN AMERICA. STEVE ROGERS IS ENTIRELY DIFFERENT FROM JOHNNY. CHRIS EVANS JUST HAS THE PERFECT SUPERHERO FIGURE SO OF COURSE THEY WANT HIM TWICE.Okay, now it’s my turn to confess: I still haven’t seen Despicable Me 2. I just kept forgetting when it was in theaters and then I’m too lazy to go rent it! *cries in a corner while mumbling about profound bonds*
Great list! I love The Emperor's New Groove, it's so much fun. 😀 And Catching Fire and The Book Thief are fantastic adaptations.
OH MY GOODNESS. I thought I was the only one ever who loved The Prestige! I put that one on my TTT as well, over at Literoses (literoses.wordpress.com). Also, SHERLOCK. I'm still searching for my Watson, I'm afraid 😉 And Robert Downey Jr. is indeed awesome to an unhealthy degree.
THE PRESTIGE IS AWESOME. I had to watch it twice just to get all the things. It was so so clever. And sad. I'm still trying to work out which twin you-know-whatted at the end. :(( That was sad.
I HAVE seen HTTYD2, and it was great too. Not as awesome as the first (but that would be hard to beat) and Cate Blanchett's accent was…strange, to say the least, but yes, I was in fangirl mode throughout. 😀
WOW I LOVE ALL OF THESE. DEF SHERLOCK <3 and DISNEY IN GENERAL. AND GAHHHHHHH. THE PRESTIGE AND THE BOOK THIEF AVENGERSSSSS ok I need to stop. Still need to watch Supernatural, hahahaahahhahah hha ha ha.
YES EVERYONE MUST WATCH SUPERNATURAL. THAT IS ALL. REALLY. IT IS BRILLIANT AND FEELS DASHING WORTHY.
Thank you! I am so glad someone else cannot stand Captain America also! He's so whiny and angsty and I couldn't even get through his entire solo movie! Iron Man is awesome, but I'm partial to Thor myself. Although I'd probably take any Avenger over Captain America! My TTT
Ugh isn't he annoying? I know I set myself up to be smacked before of my anti-captain-america-ness BUT I CAN'T HELP IT. Next to Iron Man everyone isn't as awesome. XD I got converted for Thor in his 2nd movie. 😉 Loki of course is the best.
I watched The Book Thief and loved it, but you'll find the book even better.Kero @ Kero's Book Blog
I hope so! It's on my tbr right now.
Really enjoyed Despicable Me! I still need to read and watch The Book Thief! Fun list!
Despicable me is ssooooo awesome. I laughed so much in number #2 when Lucy was going to Australia. xD
My list includes How to Train Your Dragon, The Book Thief, Miss Potter, and Cranford (TV Series), plus more if I had room to list them. I also admit the Despicable Me is pretty cool. And I have never watched a superhero-type movie, though most of my friends tell me I am missing out on a lot. I've just never gotten around to it. Love your list, Cait.
Miss Potter was a good movie, wasn't it?! I nearly forgot that one existed! It was so freakishly sad though. :((
1. Both are on my list as well. I like the different approaches, but one thing you can't change: Sherlock is a genius and I love smart guys.2. YES. Also on my list. I don't really like the Hulk. I hated the fantastic four, but I do like his role as Captain America. My favorite character is Loki, haha, but Iron man is fantastic too.6. I like Megamind too, but Despicable me is just TOO adorable <3 8. While I liked The hunger games, I was blown away by Catching fire and the trailers for the upcoming movie are so promising.9. My favorite book and I was happy with the adaptation. IT MADE ME CRY.Mel@thedailyprophecy
Smartness all round!!! I just can't understand how people even come up with those magnificent plots. They're so so good. I am partial to the Hulk and kind of annoyed they switched actors but Mark Ruffalo is definitely a better Hulk. xD LOKI FTW THOUGH.
This is a near perfect list. I love Sherlock, and I have been meaning to check out the movies from the library! Have you seen Elementary on CBS? Although not as good as the BBC version, I've enjoyed the past two seasons quite a bit. I adore both of the Despicable Me movies; I always seem to fall for animated kids' films {and props to you for mentioning Megamind – I liked that one too!}. Finally, the Book Thief was amazing, and the book is even better. I rarely cry watching films or reading books, so if I say I was in tears, you know to have your tissues ready! Great post!My TTT is linked in my name 🙂
I knew about Elementary but never thought about it until someone else just mentioned it a few comments above. I WANT TO TRY IT NOW. I really really love mysteries and how geniuses unravel them. x) Kids films are the best of ever though. Megamind made me laugh from start to finish.
I love that you chose to do movies… but Book Thief?? I didn't like that movie at all. I don't know why either. SHERLOCK SHERLOCK SHERLOCK! I get to go to the Supernatural panel at Comic Con in two weeks! Be jealous!! 😉Top Ten Tuesday
Aw, really? I adored it…hehe. Kind of obvious statement but WHATEVER. ohhhh my gosh YOU ARE GOING TO SEE THE SUPERNATURAL PEOPLES??? LEAVE ME ALONE TO STEW IN MY JEALOUSY> XD XD
We do share the same fine hair style, don't we?
YES THAT NEEDS FIXING. The series is really funny but definitely not the same. I thought I would like it because I ADORE the RDJ version so so so much. But surprisingly I like Cumberbatch as Sherlock too. XD
*joins in sad and desperate sigh*
That's fine with me. You can have Captain America. I can have Ironman. Or batman. BATMAN IS AWESOME.
Ah, it seems to be either "toleration" or "complete obsession" for Supernatural. I'm in the latter. I'm feeling mad just looking at my list now, though, because I didn't mention X-Men or really properly mention Batman and I forgot how much I completely and utterly ADORE Hornblower. *sigh*
Picking between Despicable Me and Megamind was TORTURE. I'm having a complex now that I was made to choose between them.
I AM PRETTY EXTRA SURE THEY'RE GOING TO BE PAINFUL. :'| I'll bring a bucket to the cinema for my tears.
I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN. *quietly obsesses with you* I'm watching the Reinbach Fall. I'M VERY WORRIED.I no longer have feels to value. *looks at feels shredded and ripped and tossed all over the floor*
I NO LONGER VALUE MY FEELS. This is because I have none left. *looks at crumpled feels smushed all over the floor* It's over. Done. I'm a very sad and sorry splot. Mime and I were watching them together, but we did opposite. I just zoomed ahead and she kind of fell behind. SO I'M ALONE IN MY CRAZED WAITING FOR S10.YAY! YOU SAW MARY POPPINS. See how I'm educated you? I'm very wondrous for the holes in your childhood. Emperor's New Groove = perfection.
I love these picks! Sherlock especially, I love the movies and the TV series!!! I was a pretty big fan of The Book Thief adaption too, I'm glad to see that on here!Check out my TTT!I’m also currently running a Giveaway!Katrina @ Chased By My Imagination
The Book Thief was gold and I have the book on my tbr now.
Despicable Me is worth it! I promise!! AFDJSKALDS TO CATCHING FIRE. And Easy A I have watched countless times and I do. not. rewatch. movies. Which means something big. 😉 Emma Stone is amazing.ERMAGERD THANK YOU FOR FINDING US. I've written, ahhhhh, bleh, maybe 12? I AM A VERY STRANGE LITTLE THING WHO HAS NO SOCIAL LIFE THOUGH. I read. I write. I eat. <— LIFE. Mime is 16 and I'm 20 and YUS HUZZAH FOR AUSTRALIA.
HA HA! WHICH MEANS I GET TO READ 2 COMMENTS FROM YOU. AREN'T YOU AWESOME? I'M PRETTY EXTRA SURE YOU ARE JUST AWESOME.
They better is all I can say!! They just keep getting more hilarious. xD
I think RDJ and Jude Law are my favourites too, although I'm having a scream of a time with the BBC version. It's freakishly weird to watch Fantastic Four!! AND THEY'RE IN THE SAME UNIVERSE. It's just wrong. XD I will always be a fan of A-Team, it honestly cranks me up every time. Mordoch particularly. I love how they're buddies and set each other on fire as well. (That sounded strange but…still.)
HUZZAH FOR STAR TREK! I have never actually even seen Star Wars.
WHAT?! NO NO THAT IS THE BEST A-TEAM THE WORLD HAS EVER KNOWN. IT IS UNBELIEVABLY BRILLIANT. MY MOST FAVOURITE MOVIE EVER. They're all insane. I've got The Book Thief book out to read now!! It took me a while, but hopefully I chew into it this weekend. x)
The moving picture thingies? They are gifs? (Sorry. Is that what you meant?)*hi fives for our cold hearts* I rarely cry about actually cry-able things. And usually I have the same rule butbutbut…THINGS HAPPEN AND I HAVE FALLEN.
YUS. Crazy older sisters! Sensible younger sisters! WE HAVE MORE FUN. *blocks ears* la la la Iron Man Iron Man possibly Batman too la la. WHAT? You go go go! You must see the incredibly funnieness that is Gru as a parent.
Despicable Me was so darn hilarious! I love it so much! Have you seen the 2nd one Cait? Don't be mad at me..but I have yet to watch The Book Thief! I was going to watch it with my Mom (since she's also a big reader), but she ditched me and went with her book club. :/ *sighs* I've heard it's AWESOME though! While I loved The Hunger Games, Catching Fire took everything to the next level. So, SO excited for Mockingjay! 😀 AND FROZEN HAS CONSUMED MY LIFE. I love that movie so, so much! <3
YESSSSS. I loved it just as much, which I wasn't expecting to. Sometimes 2nd movies can be lame, but that? No, that was brilliant. x) I'm not mad! Hhaha! look at me how late I am with all the new movies these days. >_< I'm surprised I've actually seen that. (Ender's Game was also brilliant and I would've liked to add it on the list. xDFROZEN JUST HAS THE BEST SONGS OF ALL TIME. THAT IS ALL.
We're great friends and most likely twins separated at birth. This post proves why[; Sherlock is fab, both the TV show and movies. I think you're totally correct about why I find Sherlock so interesting. There's just so many plot lines going on, that seem unrelated but then LE BIG PLOT TWIST happens and you're mind just gets blownYASSSSSS. I love the Avengers. However I also love Captain America, have you seen the newest Captain America movie?? Because that totally made me realize my love for him, lol once I was like you Cait[; I really do love The Black Widow in the comics, I feel like when the film industry decides not to be to sexist they should make a kick ass movie just about her. I would definitely see it 🙂 I also have a thing for spider man (yes, I'm aware he's not a part of the avengers movie, but in the comics he actually is a part of the avengers okaaaay). Thor is also great because it combines sci-fi and superheros gahhh sljflkjflkdsjflkdsjSpeaking of sci-fi, STAR TREK YASSSSSSS. Lol I have also realized the pattern of my favorite things, Chris Pine seems to be involved in one way or another [; The new Star Trek movie are great, but so is the old tv show (yes it's pretty hilarious with the special effects compared to now, but it has good moments okay)Never heard of The A Team, but it seems interesting. AND YAY! EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE (: Gotta love Kuzco, my favorite Disney princess [; He's just really sassy and fabulous okay. Despicable Me is another favorite of mine, gotta love those minions. I've never seen The Prestige, but I have seen and adored the Dark Knight Trilogy. Nolan really can't do no wrong, so I'm sure I'd also enjoy The Prestige. Thanks for letting me become aware of this movie Cait [:Supernatural. That fucking show Cait. I discovered it two summers ago and watched all 5 seasons during said summer. Remember the season five ending??? YEAH HAD TO DEAL WITH THAT PAINFUL THING. Lol. But really the show is fantastic with all of it's scary demons, angels and who even knows what O.o There's been some disturbing things on that show for sure. But then you got Dean's dedication towards the Impala, Sam and pie sooo that makes up for it??? Then there's Sam aka Moose who is a research mastermind and has reaaaaalllly bad luck with girls. Gah. I just love Supernatural alright??? It messes with my EMOTIONS AND FEELINGS BUT IT'S GREAT I SWEAR.Easy A would have to make this list if I made it. I have a huge girl crush on Emma Stone, everything that she's in I just end up loving.
THERE ARE NO WORDS, REALLY, TO SUM UP THE FREAKISH AWESOMENESS THAT IS SUPERNATURAL. I am a puddle at the moment because the finale of S9 killed. KILLED, I TELL YOU. I may or may not be a little obsessed and quite the dedicated pinner of all things SPN. OHhhhhhh THE PAIN. *ahem*So YES. You need watch A-Team and The Prestige because if you like the others it's like guaranteed you'll love them. I PROMISE YOU. The A-Team will totally blow you mind (but make sure you get the newer one). Hehe. We are sooo MOVIE TWINS! XD I think they are making a Black Widow movie too!! I'M EXCITED FOR IT. LET ME SEE IF I CAN FIND SOMETHING AND I'LL TWEET IT TO YOU.
I LOVE The Avengers. I love most of the Superhero movies (some more than others!) I like Sherlock, a lot, but I have only seen like 2 episodes in season 1 so far. And I really liked the first Sherlock movie with Robert Downing Jr. but didn't like the second one as much. And Star Trek! Yes! <3 it! And oh my goodness, The Prestige is so good! And Catching Fire was amazing. I am really anxious for Mockingjay! And of course I love Supernatural. I just need to catch up on it.Great list! Thanks for stopping by my blog! 😀
Star Trek was freakishly brilliant. And it just keeps getting better! I love Kirk so much…hehe. He's so mean to Spock and it's awesome. The Prestige is just mindblowing, right?! But Supernatural wins ALL THE THINGS.
I like The Avengers! And Star Trek! And SHERLOCK! :DI linked up this week! <a href="http://robynhoode.wordpress.com/2014/07/15/for-the-first-time-in-forever/http://robynhoode.wordpress.com/2014/07/15/for-th… />~Robyn
SHERLOCK. Basically. All the versions. x) I want to try Elementary now!
I am with you- 3 hours is insane. I can only watch a finite number of movies, and they are pretty much all reserved for YA books-to-movie. So Mockingjay… yeah. I am in some sort of twisted mental situation in which I NEED Mockingjay, but then don't want it to be over. What am I supposed to do with those kind of feelings? (Also, I am with you on both The Hunger Games needing help, and Gale's suckitude.)
Ugh to the 3 hours. I mean, I love Nolan's films, but they're sooooo long. And half of it I feel is dribble that could be cut anyway. (But, hey, I like short books as well.) Ohhh Mockingjay is going to be PAIN particularly since I knoooow it'll have a bad cliff hanger ending.
Reichenbach Fall you say? Well you certainly won't have any feels left after that… Oh yeah, and wait till you watch season three! My heart was torn to pieces after that. *Quietly weeping in a corner*
SHERLOOOOCK!!! SHERLOCKKKKK!!! I. CANNOT. WAIT. FOR. SEASON. 4. OMG, JOHN AND MARY, WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO MY PRECIOUSNESSEES?????!!!!! *sobs in corner* SERIES 3 IS MY FAV. MARY IS MY FAVOURITE CHARACTER.OMGS, YESSSSS, I totally agree with you on The Hunger Games movie front! RESCUING??!! CAIT, MY WONDERLING, YOU ARE TO KIND; IT NEEDED TO BE PUT DOWN. Urghhh, I spent most of the movie throwing abuse at it (mostly about Peta actor, because admit it: HIS ACTING SUCKS), BUT I MUST ADMIT, Catching Fire, was, OH SO AMAZINGLY FRABJOUS!!!!!!BOOOOOK THIEFF!!! BOOOOOK THIEFF!!! That movie absolutely rocked my socks off, although the ending was rubbish; I hated how they mashed it up into like a confusing mash ball of confusment (confused yet?), BLARRGH :/I dislike Despicable Me, strongly, and I actually watched Frozen this afternoon with my younger sister and brother. My sister adored it (of course she would) and my brother and I found more then twenty ways of how to mime killing yourself silently while we watched. I thought it was terrible but wisely kept my mouth shut, younger bro, didn't, told younger sis, that it was complete rubbish and started acting out the scenes he thought were the worst with sarcastic commentary. Younger sis, proceeded to beat him to death with a pillow. Obviously, younger sister won. My family is weird.FRABJOUS POST CAIT!! <3333333333
What. WHAT. Go to your room and think about what you said about Frozen and Peeta Despicable Me. You may return when you have the right opinion.(But on a different topic: OMG SHERLOCK. YES. BRILLIANCE. I haven't gotten to Mary yet but John and Sherlock are hilarious. xD)
I loooove Sherlock! And you're so right! The microscopic plot twists are everything 😀 and the humor ofc 😉 AVENGEEEEERS!!!!!!!! I LOVE MARVEL SO. FREAKIN'. HARD. Heh. Haven't seen The A-Team movie, but I used to watch the show religiously lol. Need to watch the movie now that I know you've watched it so many times and love it so much 🙂 Despicable Me and CATCHING FIRE. UGH. CF is the perfect YA adaption. Srsly *sobs*
Marvel cannot do wrong. THEY JUST CAN'T. I've never seen the A-Team show, but the movie. is. brilliance. Seriously! All must try it! And it has Liam Neeson in it, so insta-awesome, right?!!
I lurve the Sherlock movies, so smart and I love me some Downey Jr, which is why I too love Iron Man! I am a fan of Superman though – the original with Christopher Reeves, I haven't seen Man of Steel yet and I'm afraid to…a little… I agree with Captain America, I've seen the Avengers which was good, but I haven't seen the Captain America movie yet. I also haven't seen Star Trek (never watched the original either), the A Team (again no original), or The Emperor's New Groove… you want to kill me now don't you? Slowly?? lol I do love Despicable Me ("It's sooo fluffy!!") and I plan to binge Supernatural when I'm done with the vampire diaries. Oh, OHHHHHH, what is The Prestige??? I saw a movie once where there's a good guy and a bad guy, they're clones of eachother, and one can do a funky coin flip (the bad guy) and the other can't and it's all amazing but I could never remember the name, is this it??!!!My TTT: http://confessionsofabookgeek.wordpress.com/2014/…
Basically RDJ…he's amazing. I love the banter between Sherlock and Watson and both the BBC and the movie versions have nailed it! I'M SO HAPPY. I fell asleep in Man of Steel. I don't even say that lightly. 😐 I'm very annoyed they're remaking batman, though, and I won't be watching it. I'm loyal to Christopher Nolan's Batman movies. ;)The Prestige has ALL THE AWESOME in it!! I don't think it's that one…though it honestly sounds similiar. I'm not sure there's a coin flip?? This one has Christian Bale and Scarlett Johansson and Hugh Grant and Michael Cain. It's really really really good.
They're probably my favourite ever book-to-movie adaptations. XD
I actually haven't watched most of these!! Now it looks like I have a good bunch of movies I can add to my to-be-watched list. 😉 (That's totally a thing, right??) Ahhh, I love Supernatural so much. I discovered the show last year-ish and just binge-watched it until I was done. Though I AM behind on season 9 a bit, damn you, school!
I've always secretly wished there was like a Goodreads for movies. Goodwatches? Goodmovies? I would love to horde my reviews of them too. x) SEASON 9 WILL HURT. I PROMISE. IT WILL HURT.
You HAVE TO read 'The Book Thief'! I was a crying wreck in the movie, and sobbed myself through the last stages of the book – the storytelling is beautiful and it was so nice to see that the movie reflected that. I haven't read many of the others on your list, but I do love historical dramas in particular, especially Downton Abbey. Inception was a really interesting movie, and I can't wait for Mockingjay to come out!
I'm going to! I promise! I have it on my tbr right now and I'm planning to finish It's Kind of a Funny Story and then start on TBT.
I KNOW THE THING ABOUT CINEMAS, HELL, I KNOW!! Movies are like a billion times better when watched in the cinema but money and books. ARRRG. So I rent them instead, you know, when they're not cool anymore. And don't worry, Cait. I haven't watched Divergent or The Fault in Our Stars or Maleficent or Despicable Me or Catching Fire or even The Book Thief. How despicable of me. (Get it? Get it?) Of all the movies and TV shows you listed, there is only one that I have watched. Sherlock. (But still, only the 1st and 2nd seasons. Oh the agony.) The clip made me really want to watch The Emperor's New Groove though.A thing that surprised me is that after reading so many blogger's list, I found that NOBODY has Doctor Who on their list. What?
Ugh, I just can't justify a book which I can keep FOREVER to a cinema session that'll last like 2 hours. 🙁 I'm such a Scrooge though! I hate being the last person to see all the movies though. I feel like such a bad fan. >_< HAR HAR, you are very despicable. How could you? 😉 The Emperor's New Groove is just downright hilarious. I still watch it and snicker. There's a sequel and I love that, but it's not as good. I haven't ever watched Dr. Who!
Like Kirsti said up top, you should definitely check out Elementary! It's great! And sadly, I'm not up to the Disney movies you mentioned in my Big Disney Watch of 2014/15. As for Spn, I'm not sure with that show. I have seen season 1 so far and was pretty bored with it to be honest. I haven't decided if I want to continue watching it or not.
I'm going to now!! I knew about it, but then I kind of forgot, you know?! Now it's on my to-watch list. XD Sorry you didn't like SPN! I guess it's not for everyone. But 'scuse me over here quietly obsessing about it.
YES I AM AWESOME! *flips hair*
I just turned 16. MIME YOU FLYING GIRAFFE WHAT EVEN ARE YOU SUPERHUMAN OR
Well Cait, you do have excellent taste 😛 I love Sherlock as well, in pretty much all adaptations because smart men = <33 The BBC TV show I'm findest of, though. And then YES STAR TREK. Not many people watch that anymore, but Dutch TV is awesome and decided to do a ST (though the Next Generation ones) marathon a while ago. It was fun watching all the movies again 😀 Who are your favourite characters? I love Spock from the original series (duhh) and Data from the Next Generation ones. Also, Despicable Me is just heart-warming <33 And the Minions are freaking awesome.Great list, Cait 😀
*fondest, not findest, thank you very much. *glares at keyboard*
*bows* Yes yes, my taste is magnanimous. Smart men. SMART PLOTS. SMARTNESS. That's when I'm a goner. I haven't seen the original Star Treks because I'm hopeless and hardly ever watch old movies. (Except the Princess Bride. I will always rewatch that.) But I love Spock and Kirk and Bones. x)
I LOVE Despicable Me! I always watch it when it comes on TV, even though I've seen it like a million times already. And Sherlock, the TV series, is one of my favourites. I got hooked towards the end of last year. I still need to see The Book Thief. I'm a HUGE fan of the book and can't wait to watch the film. Great list!
I've seen it a million times now too, thanks to my 3yrs nephew who likes it. XD
BBC Sherlock Holmes is awesome! Intelligent and hilarious. 🙂 That and the actors do an amazing job at their characters. You must see the Amazing Spiderman 2. It's- it's the best! My whole family will go all day quoting Despicable Me and the Lego Movie. 🙂 It's tons of fun.I also adore the Hobbit movies. I can't wait until for the last one. Yay! I think they did the dragon very well in the second one. Leverage is a great TV show. It's a good series for laughs and the characters interact so well together.Catching Fire was amazing! I never cry during movies, but this one. . . I think I cried because I knew what was going to happen and it tore my heart out to have the characters go through all that AGAIN. Okay, they didn't really go through it again, but rereading or rewatching makes it feel like they're going through it all a second time. It was done very well too. The Hunger Games books, I think, are one of the few series that makes me cry. Rue's death. Cinna's death 🙁 And when Finnick and Katniss get stuck with the jabber jays sounding like their agonized loved ones. . . I hate that part.
I want to see Spiderman 2 so much!! I LOVE the actors on there and let's face it: marvel always makes an awesome movie. They actually have a story in with all the shooting people and breaking glass. x) I'm not such a fan of the Hobbit movies, purely because they're slow and long. But Mime is so into them. She's all planning for us to go see the Hobbit for Christmas.I've heard of Leverage! But I think I get it confused with Psych? I'm not sure which is which. >_<Ohhh, there is no surviving Mockingjay. RIP all we viewers.
The BBC Sherlock is AWESOME. Me and my sis stopped watching it 'cause we decided it was a bit too mature for us, but… you know. Super good.Avengers! I can't believe they're making a new Fantastic Four and it looks horrible.
It IS so good, right?! I need to finish off that 2nd season. They're long, is all, and I get side tracked. Ugh, can't they leave Fantastic Four alone?? Enough damage has been done with that one..>_<
I know everyone says this, but you are really awesome, Cait! I just adore the way you write. <3I absolutely love Despicable Me (although I prefer the first movie), Catching Fire (I can't believe it. I don't like Gale, too!), and The Book Thief (one of the best WW2-related films, I think). This is such an awesome list. 🙂
AW, JOY, THAT IS SO NICE OF YOU. *blushes and hides* I'm glad you liked Catching Fire too! Gale stands zero chance against the sweetness that is Peeta. And everyone is SO awesome in the 2nd movie…they just blew that series out of the water. I'm so happy and yet so sad. I'M FREAKISHLY SCARED FOR MOCKINGJAY. Tissues…I need to collect tissues.
I am obsessed with Sherlock (TV series and the movies. Elementary…. just no, NO!!!), and Iron Man!!! Star Trek <3 So many good choices haha pretty sure we have very very similar taste 🙂 I haven't seen The Prestige.. is it worth watching? How GOOD is it? I didn't really like the Hunger Games movie either, the only thing they got right was the casting and how everything looked. They spent too much time in District 12 and the Capitol and hardly any time in the actual arena, plus, there was like zero violence…… (ok, exaggerating, but I expected more). Ohhh, I cried in The Book Thief (book and movie). Gosh, Dispicable Me is so cute, and funny, and just plain awesome for a kids movie. And I'm pretty sure I binge watched The A Team like 5 times after I got it on DVD hahaha Best List Ever.
Oh my goodness, CRANFORD. I forgot about that…argh, it's so funny and yet, so, so, so sad. One of my favourite bits is the bit with the cat and the lace. 🙂
OK, so I've just finished this series so I can add it now: Joss Whedon's Dollhouse. Man, that's some creepy stuff going on right there. Creepy and awesome.
Sherlooooooooooockkkkkkk & Supernaturallllllll!! You have just found your way into my heart, Cait. I'm only on season 6 of SPN, but it's because I'm not as dedicated anymore (*sighs*). I LOVE the gif, though. And I have a special space in my heart for Castiel <3 I had never heard of The Prestige, but now I really want to see it. The cast on its own is incredible. Love this list.I think I'd have to say I'm mildly obsessed with Confessions of a Shopaholic (the book was so-so). The movie was hilarious and I can't help but watch it again and again. There's also, Now You See Me, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Great Gatsby, We're the Millers, Any X-Men movie… the list goes on, lol..
What an awesome list! I think this is almost my top ten take two.;) Despicable Me is so cute, they did such a great job with the little girls and Cru being so endearing.;)Love Iron Man!
Okay so you had me at the first 5 movies/shows you listed because I completely adore them all. Now I need you to recommend the Prestige because it's definitely peeked my interest. Is it worth a shot? ;D I'm thinking it's magic like Now You See Me but with the intensity of Dark Knight Rises? Also, Catching Fire? YYEESSSSS AND THOSE TEASERS FORE MOCKINGJAY
Sherlock is awesome. It's because of that show I made the attempt to read the original stories (and watching the show first helped me find my way into the books). How was The Book Thief? I've read it a few times but haven't managed to see the movie yet.
Catching Fire was quite excellent, I agree- I like it most out of all the books in the series, which I think a lot of people do not, and seeing Finnick come to life was both terrifying (favourite character, see) and wonderful! It was done really well, and my love for Johanna grew mountainously. Also, The Emperors New Groove. Simply Yes. And I see you like Easy A! That's one of my favourites, too.I'm actually surprised there aren't more movies/tv shows we have in common- three of my favourites which I do not see here but think you should definitely watch ARE:::My Family and Other Animals. The Princess Bride.Spirited Away/Howls Moving Castle/practically any Hayao Miyazaki film.
Brilliant list! I am so sad I missed this TTT when I was on a break, I'd have had so much fun doing this one. The ones I have seen:Sherlock: Who doesn't love this show! Sherlock is just a brilliant character. I even loved the Disney version, good ol' Basil! The Avengers: ASDFGHJKL!!!! AVENGERS IS AMAZING!!!! <3Star Trek: I liked the first but I really didn't enjoy the 2nd one for a lot of reasons. The Emperor's New Groove: WHAT'S HIS NAME! Kuzco!!! He's the King of the world!!! KUZCO! Now I must go watch and love this <3 Despicable Me: =D =D =D =D =D The Prestige: YES! This movie does not get enough love but it deserves it. Catching Fire: Such an amazing sequel that managed to be a million times better than the first movie. Can't wait for Mockingjay. SUPERNATURAL!!! I can't even begin to express all my love and adoration for that series. Dean is amazing and I absolutely love that guy. Such a brilliant series, I can't get enough of it.
Kay yes. 1.) SHERLOCK AND SHERLOCK HOLMES YESSSSSSSSSSSSS. 2.) AVENGERS, YESSSSSSSSSSSS. 3.) STAR TREK. No. NO. Well…. maybe. no. I view the Star Trek movies as fanfiction, and you know how I feel about fanfiction. I'm too much of a original series trekkie to go, "Yes." to the Star Trek movie. XD4.) Never seen the A Team. Good?5.) EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. 6.) Despicable Me? YESSs. 7.) I WANT TO WATCH THE PRESTIGE SO BAD. 8.) Haven't seen it yet. I heard it's better than the first one though so…9.) Nor this one. But I love WWII so i might give it a go. 10.) But like………..IT TOOK YOU UNTIL TEN TO PUT SPN DOWN? I LITERALLY SCROLLED THROUGH THE WHOLE POST GOING, 'SO WERE IS IT. WHERE IS THE PRECIOUS." AND YOU DIDN'T PUT IT UNTIL THE END, WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU.
I LEFT THE BEST TILL LAST, OKAY? I DID THAT COMPLETELY ON PURPOSE. The A-team is brilliant honest, watch it! Watch it! I'm pretty sure you'd appreciate the insanity they go to with their plans. The Prestige also: YUS. It really messes with you and I had to watch it twice to really "get" everything, you know. XD YOU DON'T LIKE THE NEW STAR TREK?! *throws salt and spaceships at you*
Really? Elementary didn't work out for you?! I went and watched the first episode and it wasn't astounding (Sherlock is kind of irritating in a not-Cumberbatch way…which wasn't fun) but the mystery-solving was still cool. xD I'm with you on THG. I'm so so excited for Mockingjay now because CF absolutely BLEW me out of the water. Har, har. The Book Thief was devestating, right?! I'm still in denial about the ending.
CREEP AND AWESOME? *adds to to-do list*
NOT AS DEDICATED?!! *throws salt and squints at you* I could not be more in love with that fandom. Because…because…*collapses sobbing* The Prestige is really really good. Honestly, try it. It'll pretty much send your brain reeling.
Haha! THANKS, Amanda! Iron Man is the best, right?!
IT IS! IT IS! Go for The Prestige, I promise you won't be disappointed. It's so much darker than Now You See Me (which is awesome too, but yeah…The Prestige is my personal pick).
The Book Thief is really really good! I've just finished the book and it's insane how close they were. They did a good job!
Finnick was A+, I think, and so was Johanna! Like she had to be both parts endearing and frustrating and they got it perfectly!! Easy A is. the. best. XD I still snicker over that one. The Princess Bride? YUS.
But did you have a good break?! THAT'S THE IMPORTANT QUESTION.Sherlock is just my favouritest character of all time I think, but really my adoration is split between Cumberbatch and RDJ. I don't know why so many people haven't heard of The Prestige?!! It's amazing and intense and really messes with your head. I'm still trying to figure out who the little girl belongs to exactly. >->SUPERNATURAL AJFSDLKAFDSAF.
UH HUH SURRRRREEEE. LOL. I shall put it on my TBW list then. KAY. I LOVE INSANITY. …. Prestige sounds like a movie I need to watch when I'm awake. lol. *burns the salt and space ships on the ceiling* LIKE OKAY. YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND IF YOU WATCHED THE ORIGINAL STAR TREKS, OKAY? IT DIDN'T EVEN *RESEMBLE* THEM.
