It really is a party, you know. Mime can’t sneak past without a full fledged Embarrassing Happy Birthday Post.
Plus, what is a Party (bloggly or not) without CAKE and MUSIC? I will rectify that immediately.
Happy 15th Birthday. It’s no secret how old you are now (halfway to 30, I might add). I know this post is technically a day late (you being on the 24th and all), but I needed pictures of cake to complete it. They will set off the adorable baby photos I have coming.
I hope you enjoyed your birthday. I did. (The coffee outing was delicious.)
love your most fabulous sister
I was a fantastic 4-year-old big sister.
We have gone from this,
Which is a staggering change, I know. Mime has always been impressed with me. She is a wonderful sister.
We took Mime out for a coffee and then snapped photos in our town’s Back Alley Gallery, which is covered in professional graffiti (and looks awesome). We’re actually in front of an Alice in Wonderland mural.
Our big sister Rachel came, with our super cute nephew and niece, and we went all picture-snappy and loud! (Two small kids, okay? It makes for loud.)
In answer to the burning question: no. I did not get much of my iced chocolate. Mr. X commandeered it.
Birthday kisses for the fantastic Auntie Mime from E.B.
The best Mum in the world — oh, and Mime.
Mime also has new boots.
I also have new shoes, but we can’t talk about them, because it’s Mime’s birthday post.
As for cake? Why yes, we did have cake. Feast your eyes, for this doubles as our Blog Book Party cake!
So, my little baby sister is all growing up (sniff) and doing grown-up stuff (well, let’s not get too carried away) and planning world domination (that’s mostly true), but I still remember when we looked like strawberry puddings.
Us. As cute strawberry puddings.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MIME!
PS. We are also going to see Iron Man 3 (which is OUT in Australia). Na-ha. It will be awesome.
