HAPPY BLOG BIRTHDAY TO ME!
Today (May 27th) is when this blog officially turns 4 years old. Oh gosh. I feel old. I AM REALLY OLD. 4 years of blogging?! This definitely calls for celebrations, albeit slightly quieter ones than we usually have.
If you were stalking following me last year, you’ll know that a) Paper Fury was NOTEBOOK SISTERS and I co-blogged with my wayward little sister, b) we threw a tremendous Alice in Wonderland themed party that lasted 5 days! and c) it was epic.
Such epicness is not happening this year, unfortunately. I know…disappointments all round. I wasn’t inspired and then when I was inspired, I wasn’t organised in time. Typical. So! I compromised with myself. I’ll have a quiet blogversary now and…later on this year, I’m going to have a HUGE and RANDOM and GLORIOUS blog party. I shall whisper to you secretly that it’ll involve ginormous giveaways and fairy tales.
BUT TODAY WE SHALL HAVE CAKE (!) AND GIVEAWAYS (!!)
It wouldn’t be a proper birthday without cake, especially considering how old this blog is.
And I’ll also be disgustingly goopy and thank people, and reflect on how big my little blog is (no longer a toddler, oh gosh, I’m sniffling) and if you survive to the end you get a present.
\\ OH! And GUESS WHAT! I’m going to give a prize to a random commenter! SQUEE. How fun! //
-~-
It’s going to sound cliche…BUT WHAT WOULD I DO WITHOUT YOU PEOPLES??!! I don’t even know. Blogging wouldn’t be anywhere near as fun. I have met so many incredible friends over 4 years of blogging. The book blogging community is so disgustingly lovely. Seriously, you peoples! WOW.
You support my writing and my blogging and my insane flailings and my awkward alliterations and…and…THANK YOU.
There are so many people I want to name (but what if I forget someone?! ARGH. Terror), so let’s get to it. Oh and regardless of how long I’ve known ou or how often you comment…I’m incredibly grateful, okay?! I REALLY LIKE YOU.
Emily: my fabulous critique partner and book flailer. You are hilarious. You make me laugh so much. And you’re nearly always the first commenter?! // Midnight Rain Dragon: If you blogged, I would be your Number #1 Fan. Thank you! I love talking to you! //Aimee: MY WRITING BUDDY. I want to see your books in the bookshop soon, okay?! So I can eat them. Also: Yes to Neal Shusterman. // Amanda: You’re one of my favourite bookish people. Never stop being so fabulous, okay?! // Shannon: You are easily one of my all-time-favourite blogs. You’re so hilarious. // Renne: Fangirling with you is endlessly fun!!
Lydia: I think we make a sensational team. What would I do without you? LIKE SERIOUSLY NOW. // Ashley: I feel like I’ve known you forever! Remember when my book was an absolute mess and you fixed it? Let me just smush cake in your hair in appreciation // Treskie: How are we still friends after all the PAIN you put me through?! By the way, I think you should adopt me. What’s one more sister? // Sky: I basically wriggled in and said “Can I help with that” for Beautiful People, so thank you for adopting me and then being like the best to talk to. // Zoe: Basically my bookish twin. We have epic taste, am I right?! // Robyn: I’m eternally glad you started blogging. // Engie: I probably haven’t known you that long, buuuut…we’ve made up for it with our EPIC fangirling chats. Can I be a tiny bitter espresso with you? // Kate: We support each other through horrific season finales. We should eat pie together.

…and also to just EVERYONE who ever comments. Because it’s awesome and I love it, okay?! I adore talking to you peoples. It makes my day.
I like stats, so humour me a second while I do a little recap. (Because I love looking back at this and seeing how far I’ve come, what worlds I’ve destroyed, what lives I’ve taken into captive. Normal stuff, ya know, for a world ruler.)

And my best post ever? That would be 10 Things You Should Regularly Tell Writers which earned me 7,000-pageviews in one day…and has 14,000 altogether now. I’M STILL KINDA IN SHOCK.
-~-
I’m basically smiling stupidly now. I’M A REALLY LUCKY BLOGGER. I have so many friends and I’ve read so many incredible books and fangirled over a lot of stuff. And, um, WOW. I’m going to shut up now and just give you guys stuff, okay? Okay.
FIRSTLY! I’m going to pick a random commenter who will win ONE of these Amazon ebooks below:
So comment away, my blogglings!
-~-
SECONDLY! I have an Etsy Store, as you might know, and I make mini book necklaces. Which you would like. I just know it. SO! You can enter the rafflecopter below to win a mini book necklace with YOUR CHOICE of cover. Open Internationally!
AND LASTLY: You can win an Amazon ebook up to $10AUD of your choice. Open internationally! And if, for some reason, I send you the prize and it’s “unavailable” in your country (or something annoying like that)…you can request Amazon to exchange it for a gift card. Which they’ll do, in like, 24 hours. It’s quite fabulous. (Amazon usually hates Australia, which is why I’m putting this caution out there.)
-~-
OH WAIT. Before you go…
-~-
yay for getting through this enormous post, my minions! CAKE ALL ROUND! and now for the important questions: how long have you been blogging? and how long have you been reading Paper Fury?!! what ebook would you pick? aaaand what’s your favourite kind of cake? (all very important questions)
OMG YOU MENTIONED ME AND I’M A LITTLE HICUPPY HERE WITH JOY RIGHT AT THIS MOMENT!!! CAIT YOU ARE AMAZING AND I LOVE YOU LOTS. I also really, really, REALLLLLY wanted to be first comment SO I SHALL BE BACK.
OKKKK I’M BACK. I wrote the first comment which I am MAGNIFICENTLY pleased about, and now I’m leaving my second comment just saying how wonderfully frabjous you are!! I WOULD give you cake, but you’re a tiny little old lady now and I bet you need your choppers for more important stuff SO I’M EATING IT FOR YOU. Right in front of you, because I see no reason why you can’t see ME enjoying it. *eats cake very slowly*
But really Cait, CONGRATULATIONS TIMES A ZILLION for getting this far!!!! You deserve every follow, every comment, and every stat! I think you’re an amazing human bean (SEE WHAT I DID THERE?!) who lights up the book blogging world in general! Pleassssssse never stop blogging as I would miss you to much. *stops mushiness right there* *grudgingly gives you a couple of crumbs of cake*
Congrats on your blogversary! Your blog is one of my absolute favourites!
HOORAY YOU AWESOME-CAIT! You’re fabulous and you know that but I’ll put it out there anyway! You glorious blogger you who reads and writes and blogs ALL THE FREAKIN’ TIME. You’ll always be one of my top favorites and inspiration besides. Thank you for your fangirlings and flailings, they’re notoriously contagious! I love chocolate mousse cake the best, I guess, or anything with coffee and/or caramel. YUM! 🙂
Oh Cait, Happy happy blogoversary to the fabulous Paper Fury. You are seriously an inspiration. Your blog is one of my absolute favourites and I just love your fantastic humour and posts! YOU ARE WINNING SO FAR.
Happy Blogoversary Cait!!! <3 I love any kind of cakes, and I really wish that pict was real since I'm so hungry right now! Anyway, your blog is one of the blog that inspired me to make my own blog, so keep blogging and keep the awesomeness <33
Happy blogversary! *sends you virtual chocolate cake* I only started reading your blog back in November and yet I got a mention?!? *Crawls back under rock feeling simultaneously shy and awesome* Seriously though, how can I NOT comment when your posts are always so awesome? And almost daily too. HOW DO YOU DO IT??? Those stats are somewhat terrifying – how many more years d’you reckon it’ll be before you complete your goal for world domination?
Happy birthday/blogday/blogversary/cakeday! 🙂 I’ve joined the minions a few month before Notebook Sisters became Paper Fury and been a regular ever since ’cause your blog is fab.
Gosh knows when I started blogging… 5 years ago? But I always had fansites – Harry Potter, Emma Watson, etc, I loved having fansites. Also, I had sooooo much freetime back then.
Chocolate cake FTW. Or tiramisu. Or both.
Or…. ice cream cake.
Happy blogversary once again, hope to read your blog for at least 4 more years now!
YAY! HAPPY BLOGVERSARY!!
I haven’t been following your blog for that long, but I really do love your posts and everything!
I’ve been blogging since November on my current blog, but I have blogged before (it wasn’t very good :P).
My favourite type of cake is probably red velvet! IT’S JUST SO LOVELY AND NOM!
There are loads of lovely books that I would have to choose from if I won, but I’m definitely going to enter both competitions!
As you can probably tell, I tried to answer all the questions, which resulted in a very long comment, but oh well!
Happy Blogversary again!
Elly xx
Aaah, thank you for complimenting my blog! It means the world 🙂 AND. HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY. You appear to have the cakes pretty much covered, so I’ll just slip in some Chinese takeout here. And maybe pizza. Keep on being fabulous. (And why was I not reading this blog last year? WHY. An Alice in Wonderland party is just fantastic.)
My favourite kind of cake is mango or chocolate (but not together! they taste strange together), but I’ve always wanted to try red velvet and I think it’d be fabulous.
Happy blogversary to you… Happy blogversary to you… Happy blogversary to Caitttttt… Happy blogversary to you! Happy 4 years!
I love reading your blog! It always makes me smile and often laugh out loud. I look forward to reading it for another four years and then another four… You’re not going anywhere, right? Don’t break my poor little heart.
I would choose Shatter Me from the ebooks above and I would pick The Incredible Adventures of Cinnamon Girl ebook to get if I won the Rafflecopter comp, because I can’t find a physical copy anywhere and am thinking I might have to read the ebook.
CAKE!!! I love cake! Seriously, it’s my weakness! I can no longer bake so much, because all I want to do is eat it all and I can’t just eat a little – I always want more. Your posts always make me hungry when I see all the cake and pie. Chocolate cake of course is heaven, but I also like lemon cake and carrot cake – minus all the nuts people often add to carrot cake, I prefer it without them. I assume chocolate is your favourite?
Ohmygoodness HAPPY BLOG BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!! *passes out cake* *throws confetti* *flails* Your blog is so epic–I haven’t followed it for long, but I love it. 🙂 (Also, thanks for linking to my blog!!!!) Thanks for sharing your stats–it’s really cool to see how much your blog has grown. I’ve only been blogging for about nine months, so my blog is puny compared to yours, but it’s encouraging to see how Notebook Sisters/Paper Fury grew over time. Also, I will look forward to random partyness later on. Also, I love the dancing pineapple gif. 🙂
As for my favorite kind of cake, I think either chocolate cake with chocolate frosting or carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Aww crud, now I have to go make some because I am CRAVING. *makes squinty, glaring eyes at you* And if I had to pick one of those four books, I’m thinking Throne of Glass since I have never actually read it which makes me illiterate.
HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY <3333333 oh my god, 4 years, that's amazing! You are so old. *hides ID card* AND WE ARE YOUR FAVOURITES. You are our favourites too. <3 May you have many more years — no seriously, because you can never stop blogging because you are made of awesome and so is your blog. BLOG FOREVER.
CAIT, CONGRATS ON YOUR BLOGOVERSARY.
Now I totally want cake…
Happy Blogiversary!
All these giveaways are so cool!! (and I love your esty store!). If I were to pick a book necklace, I’d totally go with the Harry Potter one or the Fault in our Stars one (they’re both soo pretty!).
I’ve been blogging for… 7/8 months but at my new blog, it’s only been a week! I’ve been reading Paper Fury for..it feels like forever but it’s probably only been a couple of months. I don’t remember the exact moment I discovered your amazing blog but ever since I check it at-least every week for updates 😛 And then go crazy when I see all the new posts! The only ebook I haven’t read above is Fangirl – I’ve heard it’s really good but I never got around to it. Oh and my favorite type of cake is black forest! All that chocolatey goodness…UGH Feeling so hungry just thinking about it.
Mmmmm! This chocolate cake is so good :). And dairy free too, you’re amazing! (I’m lactose intolerant)
Happy happy blogversary to you! I started reading Paper Fury because my friend Anne (booksbakingandblogging.wordpress.com) recommended you. We both love your style, it always makes me smile :).
I’M FIRST ON THE LIST! *does a little jig* Awww you’re making me all sentimental, Cait <3 <3 *tackle hugs* BEST WRITING PARTNER EVER. Congrats on four years (FOUR YEARS). That's an incredible effort 🙂 Yours is my favourite blog of EVER and I love stalking you at 7pm to see if there's a new post. Keep being awesome <3
4 years is a long time Cait. Congrats to you! May you celebrate many more!
I’d pick the TFIOS necklase. Not sure about the ebook, but I’m sure I’ll find something. My favorite is chocolate cake with a good dose of cherries thrown in. Awesomenes itself. Congrats again and happy furious blogversary.
First thing first, happy blog birthday! Wow, 4 years. Such an accomplishment. I have been around (aka stalking your blog) only last 6-7 months but you immediately became one of my all time favorites bloggers with your spectacular content.
And OMG, you mentioned me and my blog in your post! I could not believe that at first so I had to re-read. Thank you, you have no idea how much that means to me <3
And thanks for virtual cake, chocolate is my favorite as well 🙂 Hope you have another amazing and successful year(s) of blogging ahead of you!
Happy Blogversary, Cait! I’m happy you decided to celebrate- each and every blogversary is important and should be celebrated! (Says the one who’s missed her last three, o’course.) It’s amazing that you’ve been going for four years strong and yet I’ve only been following you for a little over ONE! But even that’s amazing. I hadn’t realised it’d been that long. Golly. Hope you’re doing something fun to celebrate outside of blogland, too. xx
Aww Happy Blogoversary!! 4 years is a pretty big deal. Love that you showed how much you grew over that time. I have been blogging for like 2 months so I’m quite the newbie. And yes I a serial commenter lol. But you always have such funny and original reviews/posts – I can’t help it. And cake. I like ice cream cake. But I prefer cupcakes in ALL the flavors!! Happy Blogoversary again!
Mmmm cake!! Chocolate cake is definitely my favourite too – good choice! ;D Happy blogversary! xx
Wow. This is fun. I hope you have a wonderful blogversary.
Hmm. What book would I ask for if I won the ebook giveaway…. Probably Cinder, one of Ally Carters books, or Graceful.
HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY!!
(excuse me while I shower you with chocolate cake and hot chocolate . . . are you in a sugar coma yet? No? Here’s some more!)
I love your blog. I just discovered it recently but I pretty much love every thing you do.
Oh, and you have amazing taste in books.
Shatter Me! Happy anniversary!
Happy Blogversary! (I’m trying to pronounce that in my head and. . . it’s not going so well.) Happy, happy birthday!
The dancing pineapple! 😀 I like the dancing pineapple.
My name is up there! 😮 Yay! Ahem. . . Thanks so much. 🙂 This is pretty awesome actually. I’ve been looking for some more blogs to follow and this post is like one ginormous recommendation!
I’m not surprised that the 10 Things You Should Regularly Tell Writers had the most pageviews. That was my favorite! It’s hilarious (and true). When I read it, I had recently finished beta reading for someone, and I had to email her and tell her to read it. Because it was just too awesome not to talk about!
One of my favorite cakes, is chocolate chip cheese cake. It doesn’t look like a cake. . . but it has ‘cake’ in the name, so it counts. 😉 Oo! This is not cake, but peanut butter pie is always a good substitute. Peanut butter and chocolate- it’s pure genius!
That cake. looks. amazing.
HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY CAIT! You deserve *all* the chocolate cake 🙂 Your blog is one of the very best out there and every single post you write is entertaining with amazing content. Congratulations on the 4-year milestone, here’s to many more to come *clinks mug of hot chocolate*
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAAAIIITT!
For the Bookish just turned 1 (ohhh my baby is growing up so fast!) in April, and I still have my Notebook Sisters tea party tag up from last year, so today also marks my 1 year blogversary following you! (Notebook Sisters, Paper Fury, they both take the cake!) As for my e-book, if I won, I’ve been meaning to read The Winner’s Curse. It looks so gooood! Oh and THANKS FOR MENTIONING ME! Going to get some doughnuts now! (I’ve got strawberry, glazed, and custard. Which one does little Paper Fury prefer??)
Thanks for mentioning me, Cait! I’ve only been following this blog since November, but I love your content and your gifs and your reviews and your amazingness! Thanks for commenting back and reccommending good books to me and making me happy. I would love an ebook of Daughter of Smoke and Bone so my sister can read it (I may seem selfless, but all I want really is someone to fangirl with) and maybe the cover of Code Name Verity or Across a Star Swept Sea, or Snow Like Ashes? I love those books! You are amazing for sticking with blogging so long, and you are amazing for being so dedicated to reading and writing. I’ve been blogging for like nine months (go me!) Hmmm… favourite kind of cake… maybe carrot or red velvet cake? Definitely NOT beetroot cake which I tried today (to my eternal and everlasting horror- it was disgusting) YAY AGAIN FOR YOUR BLOGOVERSARY AND FABULOUSNESS.
Congrats Cat. This is seriously a huge accomplishment. Blogging is fun, but a whole lot of work. You have stuck through for a long time and all your readers are VERY GLAD of that. You and your blog have been an inspiration to me. Keep blogging forever!
Oh my gosh you mentioned me I’m so flattered :::D (epic smiley face–don’t make fun of it) I’m SO GLAD Shatter Me is on of the ebooks, because I keep wanting to buy it but all the bookstores only have the last one in stock, since it’s the most recent. 😛 I don’t want to get it from the library because I want it to be my squishy forever.
Congrats on your blogversary! Yours is one of my favorites to visit. I’ve only been doing this officially since this past August…so nine months now and I’ve been consistently reading yours for a couple of them. I’d love to win The Winner’s Curse and the book necklace of Bobby Singer’s Guide to Hunting (yay Supernatural!!). Just so you know my favorite kind of cake is red velvet. Congrats again!
ASDFGHJKL HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY, CAIT!! This is one of the fastest-growing blogs I know, and all of the attention and publicity you’re getting from wherever is 10000% well-deserved. I love coming back here and seeing lots of new content during each visit! I think I started hanging around here… early last year? Maybe? 😉 I’ve only been blogging for almost two years, so.
And thank you so much for remembering me! <3 Now I can gloat to everyone that the fantastic Cait of Paper Fury told me that my reviews are golden. *wipes tear* And that list of blogs you're thanking? I will use it. I will stalk everyone.
P.S. No need to enter me in the ebook giveaway since I've already read all of those! Good luck to everyone else though! (But those mini book necklaces… I WANT THOSE.)
P.P.S. My favorite kind of cake is chocolate mousse. I am OBSESSED with it and have it every year during my birthday. 😉
Your best post! I was there! I remember that! (And I’ve only been blogging for, like, less than a month.) That was fun. Happy Blogversary! This HARDLY counts as quiet, but I’m looking forward to the big blog party you’ll be throwing!
Also, I so want to read ALL of those books!
Congrats! I have only been following your blog for a short while but I can see myself following for another four years should you choose to keep blogging! I have only been blogging for about a year now. I look to pretty sites like yours for inspiration to keep on keeping on!
HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY CAIT! I’m so excited for you! 4 years of blogging, it’s definitely something I want to achieve too. Also, I highly approve of your cake choices. It has become a life rule to never trust someone who does not like chocolate.
I’ve been reading your blog since I started mine -which was September 2014- and I have been amazed constantly by your content. Keep creating awesome stuff!
Yayy, Happy 4th Blog Anniversary to you and your blog, Cait! Your blog is so much fun, and so are you! ^_^ Thank you for being such an encouraging person and friend in the book blogging community. You make it so much fun, and add a lot of life and sparkle to it.
Blessings,
Joy 😀
Cake. Books. Well done for turning 4! (And have birthdays more often. They’re fun.) 🙂
My favourite type of cake? Are you trying to torture us? But… I’ll go for chocolate. Because chocolate. 😀
WHOO HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY! It’s so awesome that you’ve been blogging for so long. I’ve only been blogging for a year (sort of), but I love the community. Paper Fury was actually one of the first blogs I started following, back when it was Notebook Sisters. I’ve always admired your content and creativity. Seriously, YOU’RE AN AWESOME ELDERLY HUMAN BEING. I hope you don’t ever stop.
As for the cake, I’m a vanilla lover. Chocolate’s awesome, but vanilla is the shizz.
First of all…..Happy Blogversary!!! I’ve been reading for a little over a year now and I love your blog. You keep me more entertained than lots of other book bloggers that I have read!
If I chose a mini book necklace cover, it would have to be any Harry Potter book, any Game of Thrones book, any of the LOTR books or The Giver. The Giver is my most favorite book ever but I love the other series I mentioned as well.
For an Amazon ebook of my choosing….that is so difficult to answer since my TBR wish list is so incredibly long. I would have to sit and sit and think about it for a long long time. Oh the stress of wanting to read all the books.
HAPPY FOURTH BLOGOVERSARY //throws confetti
Cait, I cannot tell you how many books I had read/want to read because of this blog. It’s fantastic and funny and I can see why it has gotten so popular. You completely deserve all the followers you have gotten.
TO ANOTHER YEAR!
Also, I can’t believe you mentioned me. It’s 7:00 AM and I’m grinning at the computer like a lunatic.
CONGRATS SO MUCH, CAIT. Seriously, what an AMAZING achievement!!!! <3 <3 Hopefully PLENTY more years of blogging ahead, yes? I love your blog dearly 🙂
Happy Blogversary!
I’ve only been blogging for around two months but I already love it so much. I’ve been reading Paper Fury (and Notebook Sisters) for probably around a year.
Cait, I must tell you that this is quite the party. I am literally eating chocolate cake right now. No kidding.
Olivia @ Fluttering Pages
OKAY FINE MORPHEUS IS YOURS but just let me pet his wings and love him okay? Okay.
Also don’t pick me as a random comment winner because I don’t know how to get ebooks onto my phone (even though I want three of those four books XD) So don’t pick me! (man i hate saying that and it looks weird XD)
BUT YOU ARE AN AWESOME CAKEBOO AND YOUR BLOG IS SERIOUSLY LIKE, TOP FAVORITE OF MINE. YOU ARE AN AMAZING BEAUTIFUL HUMAN.
YAAAAY HAPPY BLOGAVERSARY! 4 years, dude, you’re a veteran! *munches on cake* I haven’t been following you for all *that* long yet, but *whispers* Paper Fury is my favourite blog. THERE I’ve said it. Your posts always brighten my day! I haven’t commented in a while because of bachelor thesis busyness, but I couldn’t just let this post go by without congratulating you. YOU RULE (world).
Congratulations Cait!! Your blog is always a joy to read! You deserve every single one of those followers:)
Happy, Happy birthday!! 🙂 I love it that you’re giving us presents for YOUR birthday. 😉 Not that I mind. But I hope you get lots of delicious books, cakes, cookies and/or pie. Though all of the above would probably be fabulous.
Totally forgot to say which cover I liked. Sorry. 😛 Fangirl. Of course. 😀
Yay blogoversary! From someone who has been blogging for less than one year I am very impressed. And giveaways! That’s amazing! Yay you! This is so exciting and I will definitely enter the giveaway! Cait, your hilarious, engaging blogging and active participation in the blogging community, whether they are big or small, inspires me. (And thanks for mentioning me as the sister Shanti blogs with lol)
HAPPEH HAPPEH HAPPEH BWOGAWERSARY!!!!!! I haz virtual cake for u. EAT IT OR DIE. *deep breath* Okay, feeling much better now. And those book necklaces are so cute omg I need one 😮
Happy blogoversary! (Today just happens to be my wedding anniversary as well…)
If I won a necklace, I might pick Harry Potter.
HAPPY FOUR YEARS!!! Oooo cake! Congrats on four years of awesome and brilliant posts and here is to many, many more 😀
Big congratulations on your and your blog’s special day! =) I want to say thank you, to you! Because I love reading what you have to say and I appreciate that you just keep coming back to this blog to put more content out there!
I started reading Notebook sisters a couple of months before you went solo. One loyal minion here, let me tell you! =P
My favourite cake is definitely chocolate (who wouldn’t take chocolate!?!!?!), and that gif at the end just broke my chocolate thirsty little heart.
Have a great day!
HAPPY 4TH BLOG-BIRTHDAY, CAIT!!!!! *scatters glitter everywhere* *gives you fairy cakes* (This is a legit thing and they are incred. O.O)
You’re such a merry, crazy, quirky person and I love getting your posts in my inbox!! You never fail to put me in a good mood if I happen to be feeling like Eeyore. ^.^ Stay awesome, girly!! (Oh, who am I kidding; you’ll always be awesome.)
Hmm… Let’s see:
I’ve been reading Paper Fury for two months? Ish? And alas, I don’t have a blog yet. I must stop procrastinating. 0.0 As for the ebooks, I’ve extremely strict about what YA books I read so you can just leave me out of the giveaway. (I know. I know. I’m THAT reader. 😉
CHOCOLATE CAKE. ALWAYS CHOCOLATE. I can’t stop watching the first cake GIF. It is MEEEESMERIZING. *twitches*
YOU ARE THE SWEETEST BLOGGER. Giveaways on your blogaversary? (Also, FOUR YEARS . . . *wipes sweat* *applaudes loudly*) I would definitely either pick out a Harry Potter cover or Shatter Me, even though I haven’t finished the series yet.
Happy 4 years!!! I love the book cover necklaces! I think I’d choose Unhinged because that cover is amazing! The book I’m dying for right now is The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly because it looks awesome!! I’ve only been blogging for a little over a year but I hope one day to be as awesome as you! 😛 Oh, and my favorite cake is… all the cakes. I like all cakes. But mostly frosting.
AAAIIIEEEEEEEE CONGRATULATIONS, CAIT! FOUR YEARS?! THAT IS CRAZY! MANY MANY MANY CONGRATS FOR RUNNING SUCH A FABBITY-FAB BLOG! Also, I squealed a little inside when I saw my name in your “acknowledgements”. (Okay, maybe I squealed a little on the OUTSIDE. And clapped my hands together. Because having someone shout-out to me just made my day. Does that make me a narcissist?) Additionally, you’re awesome for hosting celebratory giveaways. I have my fingers crossed I win one (or how about ALL) of them, because I’m greedy like that. (Haha, but seriously, you’re so cool for thinking about your readers/minions.) And to answer the questions you flung at me at the end of your post… I’ve been blogging since August 2014, so… 9 months. (Wow, I don’t math.) And I’ve been reading Paper Fury for almost as long as that. Your blog was one of the first ones I found that I fell in love with. I wish I had your amount of snark and hilarity, but I think you’ve got enough for the two of us, eh? And I don’t know which ebook I’d pick!! I’ve read those four books (though I don’t own any of them) and loved them all. But I’d probably pick either Shatter Me or Throne of Glass. And last, my favorite kind of cake is anything CHOCOLATE. But I do love red velvet as well as ice cream. Yum yum yum. Now I’m hungry.
Happy blog birthday! Mmm, thanks for the cake, I do love a good moist chocolate cake. And thank you for the mention! Your blog is glorious, and I always look forward to your posts.
*Raises a mug of hot chocolate* Here’s to many more years of your glorious reign!
Congratulations on four years of blogging! 🙂
I’ve had my book blog since June of 2009, so it’s almost five years old. Before that, I had a blog on Xanga for a few years (until they decided that only people willing to pay for the privilege would be welcomed in their little club). I’ve been reading your blog since before it was Paper Fury; I think I found The Notebook Sisters last year. If I recall correctly, it was around the time of that nifty Wonderland party…
I’d pick The Winner’s Curse, because it’s been on my wish list for a long time, and I really do want to read it. Oh, and my favourite type of cake… is probably cheesecake. The vegan who likes cheesecake… ha ha ha. (Vegan cheesecake is awesome, too.)
YAY! CAKE!!!!(cake always comes first, amirite?) And happy blogversary!! Seriously, your blog is getting more and more awesome. I’ve been following your blog for a little more than a year now, I think. You never fail to make me laugh out loud and you always comment back :’) . That’s just amazing.
What’s my favourite kind of cake? Um, I think you’ve asked this question more than once, Cait XD. Anyway, my favourite is chocolate and will always be chocolate. CHOCOLATE FOR THE WIN.
Now that I read your raving review of The Rest of Us Just Live Here…I really want to read it. So I’ll choose that one if I’m lucky enough to win 🙂
*hands out internet cakes and hugs*
Congrats on four years, and my how your blog grew in those four years. I love your blog, your reviews always make me smile. Thanks for the cake 🙂
It’s so hard to pick — anything really! Maybe Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
HAOP
Happy 4th blog birthday Cait! I’m so proud (even though I’ve known you for like 6 months which in your world is like a really short time). I would choose The Winter’s Curse (cause come on that cover) or Cinder. OOH! Maybe even the Book Thief! GAH there’s too much to choose from!
Lucy xx
P.S. I love your book necklaces
Happy blogoversary!
I also had my four year blogoversary this May, so it’s super exciting to see someone who started blogging when I did!
As for favorite cake: yellow cake in general, but I also like banana and carrot cake. And strawberry shortcake. Actually, I like most cake!
I have no idea what ebook I would get. There are too many books to choose from!!
I love the Lord of the Rings, so if I ever bought one of your necklaces, I would have to buy the Lord of the Rings necklace. 🙂
I recently celebrated my 3-year-blogoversary. I have no idea when I started to follow you, but it was a happy day 😉 I don’t really like cake *hides* BUT, chocolate cake isn’t so bad 😀 CONGRATULATIONS. That you may brighten our days for years to come.
Little smushy with the biggest and brightest personality I’ve ever come across. From your fangirl flailing, your love of all things food, sharing your life, your opinions and making us all feel like we’re part of your world. Especially me. Your the girl who not only marches to the beat of her own drum, but has us all following her hoping to hear the music as well. You’re one in a million.
Oh god, how sappy do I sound. I love my little smushy. You brighten my day Cait.
Happy bloggy birthday <3 <3
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhh FOUR YEARS IS SO LONG, YOU’RE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! I READ YOUR BLOG ALL DA TIME! I DON’T NECESSARILY COMMENT, BUT I HAVE EVERY INTENTION TO, AND I’M JUST REALLY BAD AT COMMENTING, BUT YAY! CONGRATULATIONS CHILD, YOU’RE FAB. (And incidentally, THANK YOU FOR THE MENTION!!! Sort of made my day. *boing boing boing* I will not apologize for the pain I put you through, because without me you wouldn’t know Dean, and what would you do without his face? EHEM. But sure, what’s one more sister, you can be adopted. lol.)
Did you know most blogs don’t last more than three months?
YOU ROCK OKAY BAI.
MY GOODNESS CAIT!! 4 YEARS!??! THAT’S AWESOME! Most of the bloggers I know are celebrating their 1st or 2nd blogoversary, (heck I’m not even CLOSE to a 1 year blogoversary!) 4 years is such a huge accomplishment! I read so many of your posts and I’m always creepering your blog, (I swear, I’m not a stakler 😛 ) they’re always so funny but really thorough and wholesum, which is an awesome quality in blogs, that not many can do. That cake looks so delish! I wish I can grab it from my screen and ride away with it into the sunset…..hehe, i just really love cake. *blushes*. I hope I can celebrate your 5 year blogoversary and so many more after that! Paper Fury is so lovely and I can’t wait to read all the other posts you come up with!! HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY!!!
XOXO
-Daisy
Oh and hehe, if I could win one of those books it would be fangirl! 😉 again, happy blogversary cait!
CONGRATS ON ALL FOUR OF YOUR YEARS! It is so cool to see how your blog has grown over the last four years and the changes it went through. It’s gotten so big! *looks all middle aged like those people who remember you when you were a baby but you don’t remember them* You must be so proud. LOL. Aaaand thank you for the blog compliment because I didn’t think I was gonna be on there and then I WAS and I was like AKLJGLKJSDG and it made me smile. 🙂 So thank you. Cake is great, books are great, all the things are great. Dunno what I’d pick, though. Still. ALL THE COOLNESS AND JOYNESS ON YOUR BLOG’S SPECIAL DAY! 🙂
AW CAIT!!! HAPPY BLOGVERSARY!!!!! FOUR YEARS?!!? THAT IS SO AMAZING!!!! (And I’m still struggling to open myself up to the world and have a public blog. Oh dear.)
The cake was awesome, by the way. And I would choose Prisoner of Night and Fog by Anne Blankman (just because I really, really, really want to read it).
MANY HAPPY RETURNS!!!
HAPPY BLOGOVERSERY CAIT! I consider you one of my best friends here in the blogosphere, and I don’t know what I would have ever done if it wasn’t for you and your blog – after all you were one of the reasons I started a blog myself! Whenever I have a bad day I know I can count on your humorous posts and perfectly used GIFs to cheer me up. xD Our bookish twinness is absolutely on point and, to be completely honest, I can’t imagine being twins with anyone else! ♥ (Plus our collaborative posts are the best thing since chocolate & books if I do say so myself).
I remember when your blog was itty bitty way back when, but it has grown into something so huge and fantastic; and that makes me so happy because if anyone deserves that kind of success, it’s you. ♥ Thank you for inspiring me to be a better blogger and a better friend. I can’t thank you enough for everything and I’m honored to call you one of my best friends on the internet. ♥
Throne of Glass!!!
Happy blog anniversary! (I never know how to write the mashup word!) Wow, your stats are amazing. It’s no wonder, I’ve never met a blogger who gets a gazillion comments and then both answers all her comments AND comments back! That’s some epic blogging morale right there (I’m trying to do the same!). And thank you for the mention, I’m honoured! 🙂
I only discovered your blog in early 2015, I think, but it’s quickly become one of my favourites – your reviews are unique and your discussion posts actually make me want to TALK (It’s a pity most of the wonderful bloggers I’ve met live half the world away… THANK THE GODS for Internet, seriously.)
My favourite cake… That’s almost like making me choose my favourite book but I’d say chocolate with peppermint ganache? Or perhaps Sacher torte (chocolate with apricot jam) if it’s good.
Aaaand I’d choose either Mortal Heart by Robin LaFevers because I really want to finish this series or The Fill-In Boyfriend because I’ve been hearing great things about it (If they fall in the price-range).
Thanks for hosting this giveaway and stay awesome 🙂
Congratulations! ❤️
HAPPY CAKE (CAIT) DAY! Wow, I can’t believe you’ve been blogging for 4 years, you are such an inspiration to me and I want to thank you for everything you’ve done for the book blogging community. You rock!
Happy 4th Birthday, Paperfury! You have such a great blog, Cait! You are basically my blogging goals.
And for your questions…
I’ve heard Throne of Glass and Fangirl are good, and I really would like to read them.
I havent actually been reading your blog for very long. But I will be here for a while now 🙂 And I’ve been blogging for a few years actually… But at the end of last year I reset my blog.
And for cake? ANY CAKE IS GREAT! Except I do love my extra chocolate chocolate mud cakes.
I just saw someone comment tiramisu for the cake and oh my goodness yes, that’s another of my favorites.
Yay happy blogoversary! 4 years man, that’s a ton of time. I love how devoted you are to this blog and the posts! Thank you for being here. 😀
~Kaitlin
Congratulations!!! Four years is a long time. I’m always so impressed by bloggers, because I can tell how much time you pour into your blogs.
I think I’ve only been reading Paper Fury since March, but you’ve quickly become one of my favorite bloggers! I found your blog through a Sunday roundup post on Oh, The Books! (It was the post about how to get more comments on your blog.) Although I don’t have a blog myself, I still found the post interesting, and I also noticed that you actually respond to comments on your blog. I MUCH prefer to read blogs where I can actually interact with the blogger, because as a non-blogger, it’s the only way I can become a part of the community. I really appreciate each time you respond to my comments! Anyway, a few posts later, and I was completely hooked. I absolutely love your posts, even on the occasions when I have no interest in the book you’re reviewing. Two months later, and look at me…I keep writing ridiculously long comments on all of your posts. 😀 I look forward to getting to know you even better!
Also, cake. Always cake. ALL THE CAKE. I like carrot cake. I like apple cake. I like cheesecake. I could go on and on. In fact, I think I will celebrate with a piece of cake tonight.
Cait, you are an inspiration. I love your writing style and your enthusiasm for everything book related. I am so honored to be part of your list of people you wanted to thank. *raises a glass* Here’s to another 5 years.
And in my excitement I forgot to answering your giveaway questions…
Necklace: TFiOS
eBook: Fangirl. Rainbow is coming to my town next month!!
Happy blogversary!!! Your blog is the first one I check every morning. It’s been a joy watching you grow up. *sniffles and wipes away happy tears* You’re getting so big so fast.
*drools* That is an excellent cake gif and should be used on a daily basis.
AND THANK YOU, I THINK WE SHOULD EAT PIE, TOO. Now the question is . . . apple or pumpkin?
I am extremely excited for these mysterious celebrations. Let the games begin!
HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY!! Four years is such a long time for the internet to bask in your amazingness. I’ve probably been blogging for a similar amount of time, but on a few different blogs and no where new as awesomely. And I’m ashamed to say I only stumbled across your beuatiful blog a year or two ago. I was missing out on so much. But hey, better late than never, right?
THE BEST CAKE IS CHOCOLATE CAKE
Wonderland party?! So bummed that I missed it. Oh well, I’ll be sure to be around for the next one. Fairy tales, you say? I’M IN!!! 😉
HAPPY BLOGGING BIRTHDAY, CAIT!!!!!! 😀 😀 😀 *throws confetti and noms cake*
Those stats are amazing. Some really big jumps from year to year!
Little ol’ me has been blogging for two months. XD So I’m still very much a fledgling/newbie/infant blogger. But I’ve been reading Paper Fury for…what is it now? I don’t remember. Longer than two months, lol! I’ve stumbled across it once or twice in the last year or so…but actually started to follow and read all the posts sometime in the last few months.
No idea what e-book I’d pick, but THOSE TINY BOOK NECKLACES. Those are gorgeous!!! <3
I forgot to mention it yesterday, but I’m tickled pink that you mentioned me up there. ^_^ A lot of niceness and effort went into listing everybody like that! <3
Happy blogversary! I’ve been reading your musings since the beggining of the year, and let me tell you, you are amazing! Hope to see some of your writing in the future, ’cause I am sure it would plainly rock! So, congratulations again, and that your cakes be always yummy and flavorful!
Congrats! This is so great! You deserve all your lovely exponential growth in readership:) Your post gave me lots of blogs to explore (which I love)!
I’ve been blogging since Feb. of 2011 (!!!) and I don’t remember how I found your blog, but it was in the early days. Probably pretty soon after it started, because I remember that you didn’t have very many followers (and I was like why aren’t they more popular?!). It’s been really neat to see how this blog has grown and evolved, since a lot of bloggers from back then aren’t around anymore.
Anyways, SO MUCH LOVE FOR YOUR BLOG! Here’s to the next four years!
I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU, CAIT! Happy blogversary!
Congratulations, Cait!!!! I adore your blog, and hope you have many happy returns of the blogoversary. 🙂 And if this is a “quiet” blogoversary…I can only say I’m looking forward to that huge, random party you promised. ;P
HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BLOGVERSARY TO YOU!
This post (and all your posts) just make me so happy and excited to be a fellow book lover. I know I don’t stop by very often, but I do love your blog 🙂 That virtual chocolate cake is delicious, I must say 😉
Okay, so I feel like a completely horrible person. See, I’ve totally been one of your blog stalkers, but not intentionally! I’ve literally been devotedly following your blog for an entire year now and I’ve never commented! Stalker much? Sheesh. I meant to comment, but like the lazy, awful person I am, I never did. So here I am commenting and not being a stalker anymore! Yay! *throws confetti*
Hiiii! *waves* I’m Christine, fellow book eater…er…I mean reader. Reader, yes. I’m actually a friend of Deborah, Tracey, Lisa, Mirriam, and Sky so we run in the same crowds even though you probably don’t know me. I’m part of Mirriam Neal’s Pack and I think you are too…? But I don’t have a Facebook so I never get to join in on that side of things, just with emails. Annnd I do ALL the Beautiful Peoples. I did it waaay back in the day and was devastated when it died. So when you picked it back up with Sky, well, saying I was excited would be like describing cake is just kind of tasty. I was THRILLED. I love BP! But ALLLLL that to say, we know a lot of the same people and I feel like we should know each other so hello, Cait! *glomps*
And can I just say, I. LOVE. YOUR. BLOG. It’s honest to goodness one of my top favoritest blogs of ever. I do this little silent smile squeal thing every time I see a new post pop up, and then proceed to continue grinning and giggling to myself over your delightfully hilarious posts. You are the BEST.
Also I totally read Throne of Glass AND The Maze Runner under your influence, just so you know. *nods*
Now that I’ve written you a novel of a comment here (seriously, this is getting embarrassing) I’m going to hush. But I’m so happy to not be a creepy stalker anymore and I’ll try (try being the magical key word here) to stop being lazy and comment now and again like a good blogger.
A HUGE congrats to your 4 year blogversary!!! My blog recently turned 4 as well! 😀
NEAL SHUSTERMAN REALLY IS THE BEST. *high fives*
Happy blog birthday, by the way! *showers you with cake*
HAPPY BLOGGY BIRTHDAY with sprinkles on top!! I love the Harry Potter book necklace…terrific.
HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY, CAIT! I can’t believe you have been blogging for four years. That is unbelievably awesome, and I definitely hope to blog for that long. Thank you so much for the shout out! You are awesomely awesome and so is your blog!
AAAH congratulations! Like really, all the congratulations! Four years is such a long time to blogging, and having seen how it has steadily grown in all that time is fab. Here’s to many more years of brilliant blogging and lovely books 🙂 I am going to admit that i don’t like chocolate cake much though xD
And also, I found your blog when it changed from Notebook Sisters to Paper Fury because Reviews from a Bookworm mentioned your blog on hers. That’s how I found it!
Happy blogiversary! Four years is an awesome accomplishment!
Hey there Cait!! I can’t believe you’ve been in the blog-o-sphere for 4 years!! Incredible!!! I haven’t been following you for as long as you’ve been blogging, but I just want to tell you how I absolutely love your blog, your reviews, your discussions, and all your quirky little side comments and asterisks, they seriously make my day!
Congratulations on reaching another milestone and I wish you all the more success in the future. WOOOO CAKE ALL AROUND!!!!
Ps. I’ve always wondered, what type of cake do you love the most?? 😀
And I definitely need Throne of Glass in my life ASAP! I feel like I’m missing out on so much epicness!
HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY!!! 😀 I can’t believe you went that far. I have only lasted more than one year hahahaha! Your blog is SO CUTE and I’ll always be looking out for more of your posts Cait 🙂 You really are a lucky blogger. Not all bloggers get as much pageviews/followers as you ^_^
Happy 4th Blog Anniversary to you and your blog! You blog is awesome, and you never fail to put a smile on my face! Honestly, You’re funny with your little comments and GIFs
It must feel great to see how your blog had grown through the years. I really hope that that growth never stop.
I’m pretty sure that I am your #1 fan from KSA.
Hahaha so my evil plan to make people notice my blog by virtue of cake alone was a smashing success I’d say 😀
CONGRATULATIONS AND LOTS OF BOOKS AND PIE FOR YOU! Your blog is clearly awesomesauce and funny and all the good things. I’ve been blogging at Reviews and Cake since last August and I’ve been reading your blog for ummmmm like 9 months maybe? A WHILE OKAY, I CANNOT BE BOTHERED WITH SUCH RANDOM THINGS AS UNITS OF TIME. I think I might stick around… if I absolutely have to… (That means DEFINITELY coming from an emotionally challenged person such as myself)
Happy blogoversary Cait! *throws confetti* You’re one of my favourite bloggers ever, and I am so excited to celebrate your blog’s fourth birthday!:)
Thanks for the giveaways luv!
Happy Blogaversary! You and your blog are both fabulous and I love you both immensely!
Ahhhh! I got a thank you!! This makes me ridiculously happy, I feel like a good minion who’s had a pat on the head! Lol Well done on 4 years of blogging! That really is an achievement! For the necklace if I won.. Oh Lord. It’s so hard to choose. I’ll need to come back to you, do you pick a favourite book? Or a delicious cover? Seeing as you’re going to be wearing it?! For the eBook I’d pick… what’s on my wishlist right now… possibly a Marlina Marchetta book? Or The Winner’s Curse, I haven’t even started that one yet… R x
i’d probably pick the harry potter cover~ Harry Potter is my favorite fantasy series and i’d love to have a necklace with one of the books in the harry potter series
i’d probably pick throne of glass by Sarah J Mass ‘s ebook
AAAAAHH *screaming* HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY!!!! You are probably the number one most hilarious blog in the history of ever. ^_^ *huggles you and PaperFury* You always make my days happy because I LOVE TO LAUGH AND HUMOR IS THE BEST. Also you talk about books and lists and cake. WHAT IS NOT TO LOVE.
Okay. I just officially died when I saw my name in your post. Nope. I am dead. You think I’m FUN? O_O Oh my word I can’t even. I’M JUST SILLY OL’ ME AND YOU ARE AMAZING AND HILARIOUS. HOW EVEN. Ahem. Sorry. That was a death-by-fangirling moment. >.> PLEASE KIDNAP ME AS A FRIEND FOREVER YES. Actually you can’t, because I’m going to to kidnap you as a friend forever first. *snatches Cait and runs away to hidey-hole filled with books* There.
FOUR YEARS. I can’t even fathom this incredibleness. I’ve been blogging for like a year and a half. XD I don’t remember how long I’ve been following Paper Fury, but since before it was Paper Fury, but regardless, NOT LONG ENOUGH. *flail* And I have positively no idea what necklace/ebook I would choose if against all the odds-not-in-my-favor I won. XD AND CHOCOLATE CAKE IS BEST YESSSSSSS. *noms it from the most perfect gif ever*
Meep sorry for the long. I just had so much to SAY. HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY CAIT YOU FABULOUS PERSON YOU!!!!! <3
Happy Blogversary, Cait 🙂 That’s incredible how far you’ve come. I look at your blog now (as one of my favorites) and it’s incredible. I love your style and everything about it.
I would probably pick (for the necklace) would be Looking for Alaska, funny because I haven’t read it yet, but the cover is so pretty, yet simple.
Now for the e-book, that’s a super hard one… I’d ask for Mosquitoland. I’ve heard great things about it, but every time I see it at the bookstore I never pick it up (what’s with me? :P).
Anyway, again congrats on how far you’ve come & I hope you didn’t get a food baby from all the cake 🙂
CAIT CAIT CAIT
HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY
which makes me realise
I only went and MISSED by own blogoversary!!
Great mother I’ll make ….
But anyway, happy blogoversary, and also, as this seems to be the time for emotional posts and general FEELINGS (sorry, Sherlock), thank you for your wonderous blog which is one of my favourites and always makes me smile. You are an amazing part of the book blogosphere.
To answer your questions, I have been blogging since April 2012. I’ve been reading Paper Fury since its birth, and before that reading Notebook Sisters, back when your background was brown stacks of books and you had percentage bars at the side of how far through you and Mime were writing your novels …. !!! :’) (also that makes me remember, I have a question: I always thought it was pronounced Me-me but then you mentioned The Mime Order and were like “and my sister’s called Mime!” so is it actually Myhme, like what mime artists do? It is important to know these things.)
I don’t have a Kindle so I wouldn’t pick an ebook D: The struggles of living the paper book life ….. buuuuut if I won the second giveaway, could I change it for a gift card? That is the question.
I like carrot cake. But chocolate is the love of my life so it’s a tough call.
PS those book necklaces are beautiful.
PPS and this is a general post-script of appreciation for you and your blog.
Happy blog birthday or whatever the cool kids are calling them!
Your blog is THE BEST and I hope you blog forever so that I always know what books are worth my very few pennies.
Big love xxxx
ps. I deleted my blog but I was Books&Babyetc. And then Educating Elsa just FYI in case you’re like WHO THE HECK IS THIS?! It’s me.
HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY! I hit my fourth anniversay about five months ago myself! These are always so exciting, too! <3 <3 <3
~Jamie
Hey Cait! Once again, happy Blogversary! To help you celebrate I’ve nominated you for the Creative Blogger Award. I’d love to see your answers to the questions if you decide to participate. I love your blog! http://www.forgottenfeatherpen.blogspot.com/2015/05/the-creative-blogger-award.html
HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY MY DEAR <33 A few months after I started blogging back in 2014, I happened across this lovely blog called Notebook Sisters. There was this hilarious and witty gal named Cait, and from that point on she has been my blogging inspiration. Congrats on all of your achievements, you deserve it and so much more!! awwwww thanks for the shoutout <33
Congratulations! Blogging for four years is really incredible and I hope that you continue blogging for many, many years (or just until forever).
I have been blogging on and off for about two years, but I have been really dedicated in the last four months. I am really trying to step up my game, so maybe I can be able to celebrate my four year blogaversary one day too!
I have been reading Paper Fury since before it was Paper Fury, all the way back to the good old Notebook Sisters days. But seriously, I have been following (not at all in a creepy way) for over a year now. And I am SOOOO happy that I am. I plan to continue reading everything you write until, well, forever (see above).
Most importantly, my favorite kind of cake is chocolate, even though all cake is amazing. There is just nothing better than a good piece of chocolate cake to celebrate.
I wish you all of the cake in the world.
Ah, happy celebrations Cait! THANK YOU FOR MENTIONING ME. You are too awesome and too kind, honestly, so so sweet. I’m so happy I found you, I love you and your posts and you make my day. Gah, I love you loads. *squeeze hugs!*
P.S. Sorry for Twitter, total fool I am.. *blushes*
CHOCOLATE CAKE FOREVER!!! DAUNTLESS CHOCOLATE!
*flings confetti everywhere while eating cake*
CAIT I FREAKIN LOVE YOU. HAPPY FOUR YEARS. CHEERS TO YOU!
I AM SLIGHTLY LATE TO THIS, BUT WHEEEE~ HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY, CAIT!!! Four years is such a long time and such a huge achievement, and I’m already feeling super happy on your behalf! ;DDD We haven’t known each other for long, but I just wanted to let you know that you’re one of the best and most inspiring bloggers out there, and I’m so glad to have stumbled across your blog all those… months(??) ago? Haha. Even though I don’t comment all the time, I LOVE reading all your fantastic posts, like how do you even manage to write such original and thought-provoking discussions and hilarious reviews and keep up with so many comments?! YOU’RE LITERALLY A SUPERHERO.
It was amazing seeing how far your blog has come through all the years. And the blogosphere is great in the aspect of friends and friendship.
Once again, CONGRATSSSS AND HERE’S TO MANY MORE YEARS!! *waves pom poms and pops confetti*
cait!! i’m so incredibly happy for you and your fabulous blog! <333 this special occasion truly calls for cake – real cake, not delicious looking gif-cake. i read your other blogoversary post and your answers never failed to crack me up. keep blogging because i always look forward to your posts! (actually, do whatever you want and don't listen to me because you are awesome and listen to yourself) (but seriously, i hope you keep blogging)
GIRL HOW DO YOU EVEN DO 300+ posts a year? I don’t know if that’s more miraculous than the fact you’ve been awesome for four year. No, forget that. You’re constantly being a miracle with all the commenting that you do.
So happy blogoversary, you rabid miracle, and I hope that there’s going to be more to come! AND CAKE. Gah, I’m writing this comment at the same time that someone started eating some really fragrant noodles, and my stomach is unbearable right now. Gah.
Happy Blogerversary! It’s always awesome to celebrate these milestones. I celebrated six years of blogging on 29th March 🙂 So. Long. Haha! I’ve not been following you very long, I’m afraid – maybe a week or two? But I’m an avid reader of your blog now, because you make me laugh!
The ebook I would pick would be… The Tenderness of Thieves by Donna Freitas. Or Behind the Scenes by Dahlia Adler. Or Crazy by Amy Reed. Or Lion’s Share by Rachel Vincent. I don’t knooow!
Cake… um. Would you hate me if I said I don’t like cake? Not really. The only cakes I eat are sugar ring doughnuts. Do they count? But yeah, I don’t eat birthday cake, I don’t like it.
As for which book I’d want on a necklace… I didn’t like the book, but the cover for Lovely, Dark and Deep by Amy McNamara is beautiful. As is the cover for One Thing Stolen by Beth Kephart. Or The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender by Leslye Walton. Again, I don’t know! 🙁
Shhhh, let’s pretend I’m not late to this wonderful event that is your blog’s ANNIVERSARY?!?! Wtf Cait, it literally does feel just like yesterday when you were have that Alice in Wonderland themed party on this blog. Can’t believe it’s already been a year, it’s honestly beyond crazy. In just a year there’s been a lot of changes and additions to this blog and I’m proud to say that I’ve witnessed this blog just grow more and more successful. Not only that, but you still have that special (evil overload coughhhh) Cait charm that makes the blog so unique [;
Thanks for the mention girl <33 It made me smile, especially since I appreciate and admire YOUR content so much.
happy (belated) blogversary girly <33 here's to many more!!!
Yeah a giveaway! Love these things 🙂 And Happy Blogvedsary!! I would definitely pick the HG book necklace ( love it ) and I would love to read Shatter Me (what a gorgeous cover!)

That’s the achievement I want to achieve in two years time… We still need to reach three years old in our end 😉 Cait, you’re funny, amazing, witty, humorous, and just downright amazing. You’re so creative with your posts and with your reviews that you deserve all the love and the books in the world! Continue being you, continue being kickass ;D We need more Caits in the world!!!

Um, before I even congratulate you (and no worries, I will, with abundance!) I seriously don’t even know how to thank you for your kind words. Because YOUR blog is MY all time favorite so for you to love mine… I am just kind of speechless. Which, as you know, doesn’t happen often 😉
So. HUGEEEE congrats!! Four years is basically epic, and I STILL do not understand how you do it. You deserve every ounce of success you have achieved, and I am just so happy for you!! I WISH I had known about you (or book blogging in general!) four years ago, but I would say I have been following you since the minute I found you, probably around a year ago. I have only been doing it for a year and a half, but man, it has been the BEST year and a half, because of awesome bloggers like YOU!
That cake looks amazing, and I now would like cake. Any kind will do, but I am craving chocolate at the moment. In general, I love a key lime cake, or a rum cake, or a red velvet cake, or German chocolate, or ANY chocolate! Or cheesecake!
Now, you run along now and celebrate by eating all the cake! I wish I had gotten to congratulate you sooner, but I will just yell it again to make up for my tardiness: CONGRATULATIONS! (And also, don’t ever leave us 😉 )
Happy Blogversary, Cait!
I don’t comment much(I’m commentally (should be a word) challenged). I just wanted to let you know that your blog is completely frabjous and it’s my favorite blog ever. I’ve been following your blog for several years now, and I’ve met some of my favorite books through it! (Basically, if you like it, I read it)
You are an amazing person, writer, reader, and reviewer (seriously, though).
HAPPY BLOGVERSARY.
SARCASM FOREVER.

DISCLAIMER: No sarcasm was used in the writing of this post (I was writing it quick and my wit didn’t have time to warm up)
Just saw the giveaways 😛
I’d probably want to win either Throne of Glass or The Winner’s Curse.
And for the book necklace, I’m not sure what I’d pick.

Happy blog birthday! The time sure flies, doesn’t it? 🙂
CAIT!!!! Four years with such tremendous growth! My hat is off to you. I hope to be one of your faithful minions for the next billion years. Your blog posts are always the right mix of entertaining and informative. I think that is why your blog is popular. You are such a clever girl! I am looking forward to many, many more years of your reviews and rants, and the ridiculously funny gifs you manage to find. Thanks for the mention, it means a lot to me. So, (((hugs))) and *kisses* on this glorious occasion. If I should be blessed by the giveaway faries and win any goodies; my choices would be a To Kill a Mockingbird necklace, or To Kill a Mockingbird ebook. 😀
gah, congrats! I haven’t been around long but love your blog and love following you on Twitter! *tosses confetti*
I’m a bit delayed but Happy Blogoversary!! I honestly don’t comment as much as I should but whenever I get the email that you posted something, they always make my day. Keep being awesome! =D
Happy Blogversary! Your etsy shop is awesome! I would definitely choose the TFIOS one because it’s my fav book! 😉
I don’t know why it took me so long to finally comment/enter your giveaway/CONGRATULATE YOU ON FOUR YEARS OF BLOGGING AWESOMENESS!!
But here I am finally.
I, like a deluded thing, forgot my own blogoversary, which is the week before yours. Yay me. BUT to answer your questions – I’ve been blogging for two years, and reading Paper Fury for… one and a half? Something like that.
And I would request chocolate cake, but I am quite a bit late to the party so you’ve probably eaten it all by now. 🙁
Happy blogoversary! I really enjoy stopping by your blog and look forward to many more stops in the future. *accepts cake, gobbles* I’ve been blogging four years next month! I really should organise something, right? I MUST. I hope. I’ve been following Paper Fury since it started and before that, your other blog you had had with your sister. So, a while? Favourite cake? I love all kind, obvs. I mean, it’s CAKE. But my faves are carrot cake with lemon icing (oh my) and vanilla with strawberries and cream.
Super mega congratulations Cait! I absolutely adore your blog. I love how free you are and how you’re willing to take different routes. Your creativity and epicness totally shows! I can’t wait until you become super mega famous and then I can tell all my friends “I’ve been reading her blog for years!” Cheers for many more years to come!
Happy blogiversary! I know I’m late to the party but I wanted to say hi! I’ve been reading your site for a year-ish now I believe. And I’ve been blogging for three years July 8th! I’ve never done a blogiversary but I’m going to do one this year. ^ ^ And my favorite kind of cake is cheesecake. 😉
storitorigrace.blogspot.com
*smushes cake in you hair* AW THANKS VICTORIA. xD And congrats on your soon-to-be blogversary too!!
I’d choose Divergent because its my all time favorite book and series.
Happy Blogversary BTW!!!!
Hello! Happy blogoversary!!!
I’m a fellow Aussie blogger (who found you via the Goodreads group).
I love all of the four ebooks and would love to win any of them! (They’re all my favourites)
I love your necklaces! They’re absolutely ADORABLE!!!! If I were to choose any cover, I would have to go with The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski because not only is the cover gorgeous, but it is one of my all-time favourite books and I feel like it is not very well known (an injustice that need to be rectified!) Another pick would have to be Dragonfly by Julia Golding, which pretty much has the same story as the previous one (I’ve actually read this book seven times or such like).
Happy blogversary!! (Now I really want cake, after reading your post. Perhaps cheesecake, or chocolate cake. Why.)
HOW DID I MISS THIS POST. HAPPYBLOGVERSARY CAIT!!!! *showers you with cake of all sizes and flavours*
HAPPY BLOVERSARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would pick Alice in Wonderland!!!!
