I told you I was a thrill ride person.
We went to Movie World yesterday. Oh, so, so much fun. It was just brilliant. Roller coasters galore. Just great. I love these extreme rides. While I’m in the queue, I sike myself up that this is going to be awful, I’m going to die. And then afterwards I jump up and down in excitment, and have enough energy to go for a run.
In our family, we don’t do stuff like this very often. It’s usually an every-five-years-or-so thing, but we have these passes, so it’s a little more frequent at the moment.
So when we do things like this, it’s memorable. Like this: Mum fainted. Yes, it was very scary. She had to go to the hospital. It turns out we think she only had a bit of a bug or something, and she’s fine now. It’s Cait who’s sick at the moment. Poor Cait.
Even though Mum and Dad were at the hospital, the rest of us stayed so we would have to wait around there all day. We had a great time. But we were pretty worried still.
We’ll have to go back now, so Mum can do everything. I’m so glad she’s better.
I just love theme parks.
