Now a faerie is usually spelled fairy. Simple. Easy to read. Other wise it comes out more like fayerie. To me, at least. However, I love the spelling of faerie. One day, I will explore the mythology and write my own fairy book. Faerie book.
I have no ideas, I just like faeries, what with their gowns spun of delicate spider silk, swirls paiting their faces, gossamer translucent wings you could see through. Everything about a faerie is delicate and beautiful.
Then there’s the dark ones. Once hued in red and black, their dark hair cascading over thier elegent elfish shoulders, riding midnight black unicorns, their white faces, their dark eyes, their adorments black, black. Chilling. They live beneath toadstools.
And the light onces, with pastel colours, yellows and pinks, greens, so earthy. They dance amongst the flowers. Their feet are bare. They live under buttercups and inside roses. Their eyes are blue, their faces smile. Their horses are white as snow, bridled with ivy…
See? Faeries are not for babies. They’re facsinating.
Here are the Rules…
