THIS WEEK I HAVE CONQUERED. Well. I didn’t borrow any books from the library. My stack is even manageable! Buuut, there was a library sale…
Our Cress giveaway ends in a few hours, so pop over and enter (or retweet…all that good stuff).
I’m linking up with Tynga’s Reviews for the meme Stacking The Shelves! Basically: you recount books you’ve won/bought/collected this week.
This week is pretty intense for the review books! It just means I’m an awesome reviewer and everybody loves me, right? Don’t tell me otherwise. Keep your reality away from me.
I do like the eyeball covers better. This cover really doesn’t inspire me to do anything…except maybe wash my hands. BUT. I’m so, so excited to have a copy of this! Thank you Allen & Unwin!
Thank you Five Mile Press! I was so, so ridiculously excited to get these. I mean, KAREN FOXLEE?! She’s a literary genius. And Natalie Whipple has one of the sweetest most informative blogs I’ve ever read. (She’s such a nice person!) I AM EXCITED OKAY?
I’ve also been invited to be part of the Ophelia blog tour (yesssss), so keep your eyeballs peeled for my review (and giveaway) at the end of the week.
Thank you Pan Macmillan Australia! I’d never heard of these books until I got surprise copies in the mail. Jaclyn Moriarty is an Aussie author, so I’m pretty keen to try her writing (even if she does have the last name of a dude who has questionable morals when concerned with Sherlock Holmes).
I’m so excited to be on the street team for K.A. Last!! See? I’m totally special. SO. These were given to me by the author (thank you!) and you will see reviews of them…shortly. Aren’t the covers gorgeous though? I am HAPPINESS. I like angel books.
Library sales are fantastic. I have been looking forward to this sale since the beginning of February (“looking forward” here is a phrase meaning reminding my family every single day so they don’t forget they need to take me there). Our local library is pretty small in the YA department, but I was still a happy vegemite to be there.
I snagged some Dr. Seuss books which I cut up for my business. And I don’t own any Harry Potter books (I’ve only read the first 3 actually, but I love them!) but I saw these hardcovers…and at $1 each, who could say no?! Hardcovers rule the shelves.
