It’s my tour stop with MTMC Tours to talk about The Revelation of Three by Sara M. Schaller!
this is the sequel to The Genesis of Seven, which you might remember that I blogged about last year! This is a paranormal/urban fantasy that takes angels and demons to a whole new and unique level 🙌🏻 when an orphan boy is caught in a magical prophecy, he gets tangled up with some very powerful archangels (cue found family 🥺). The sequel kicks off with new characters, powerful magical objects, and POV chapters from the devil himself. Who is having some complications in his dark plans. Imaginative, fast-pace and stuffed with lore and magic, this series is perfect for fans of paranormal fantasy and adventures!
There’s an INTL giveaway over on my instagram and a Q&A with the author below!!

He thought he was prepared to go to war with the Devil, but what if Satan’s not his true enemy?
Ever since the Devil donned a powerful amulet that allows him to walk the Earth, he has grown weaker—and so has his authority. As a result, mutiny is rising in Hell, and the Devil must fight to remain the king of the underworld. Little does he know, there is much more at stake than his title.
After the death of the nun who raised him and his best friend, Jordan Conway cannot think of anything but finding Sophia and keeping her safe. Luckily, he has a team of archangels on his side, and with their help, the two lifelong friends are reunited. But Jordan didn’t expect the reunion to include another of Sister Helen’s charges—the boy he’d loved like a brother but who had pushed him away, Dane. The three orphans never thought their lives would amount to much, but finding their way back to each other is leading them to finding out who they truly are.
All paths converge when the fourteenth sphere, a celestial object with a power like no other, appears at the Met. The angels must keep it from falling into the wrong hands, and soon, the lines between good and evil blur as they find themselves fighting alongside Satan to prevent the unleashing of a dark and dangerous force hell-bent on taking them all down. But in this world, nothing is as it seems, and the mysterious sphere is possibly the least of their concerns…
Get ready for another adventure as the three friends, and the angels they now consider family, travel the globe in search of a way to save each other—and the world.
I had bargained my power for my freedom, and not even I, Lord Satan, ruler of the underworld, was immune to its price.
Hi Sara! Thanks for chatting with me today about book two in the Empyrean Trilogy, The Revelation of Three! Can you tell us a little about book two’s publishing journey? Did anything about your writing process change?
Book two’s publishing journey was hard. It took me a while to figure out where the story started, so I began writing and stopped a few times until I found the right place to begin. That was definitely something that changed from book one to book two since I knew exactly where I was going with the story from beginning to end. It was a rough journey this time around but once the drafting and editing phases were over, everything else went pretty smoothly. If anything, this whole process has taught me some life-long lessons that I will carry with me into the next book.
What drew you to writing about angels?
I grew up going to church and that’s where I vaguely learned about who the angels were, and to me at the time since I was so young, they seemed like superheroes because they were able to protect people and intervene when bad things happened. On top of that, Marvel wasn’t as popular yet, so it made sense why I viewed the angels that way. However, as I grew up, I started looking for books, movies, pretty much anything that included angels in the story, and I couldn’t find ones that portrayed them in the way I saw them, so that’s what ultimately drew me to writing about them.
Do you have a favourite moment from your publishing journey so far? 😍🙌🏻
My favorite moment so far has been reaching readers far and wide, especially now as more in-person events become an option again.
What are some big changes the characters are dealing with now, since the events of book one?
There is a big loss at the beginning of book two that changes all of the characters. As the story progresses, I think the characters that face the biggest changes are the three kids (Jordan, Sophia, and Dane) as they try to discover who they are and where they come from.
Did you plot much of the trilogy before you started? Did you know how it would end up front, or did anything surprise you along the way?
I had plotted out certain parts of the trilogy before I started, but not everything. Mostly just the major battles and plot twists. Up front, I knew the trilogy would end in a battle but since I’ve started writing that ending has evolved into much more than just a final fight. There have been plenty of times that I’ve been surprised along the way. Those are my favorite parts because they’re unexpected and push me as a writer.
And lastly! Was any chocolate harmed in the making of this novel? 😉
YES! All the chocolate! It’s my go-to snack.
Thanks so much for this amazing sneak peek into your writing world, Sara! Congrats on your sequel’s release 🤗✨
