How do glasses get as dirty as they do? I don’t go and rub my fingers on them intentionally. So how do they end up smeared and linty? How can glasses collect dust in one night? Go figure.
I have such bad eyes. When I don’t have them on, I hold my book literally 10 centimetres from my nose. Probably not even that. And they get tired. Especially if I read too much. Like if I finish a chunk of a book in one day, my eyes are so tired. Not that that’s a surprise. Still, it’s annoying. Maybe it’s the computer screen, too. I probably shouldn’t close up with my eyes so much, but it’s so hard not to. I mean, using your eyes it a lot more fun than not using them. And how do you read a good book or write something without your eyes? (Don’t start talking about Braille.)
You know, when Cait wants to bother me, or get my attention, she takes my glasses off my face. I usually snatch them back and continue reading. But then sometimes she flicks water on them. Or smudges them with her finger. Ah, sisters, you got to love them.
That’s probalby the point of sisters. Friends you can be perfectly honest with. And they’ll still be there. Literally.
It’s Stream of Consciousness Sunday!
Here are the Rules…
