This is my second time linking up with The Broke and the Bookish for their incredibly awesome meme: Top Ten Tuesday.
It’s a meme involving lists, peoples. LISTS! I love lists.
This week’s prompt is: Top Ten Rewind. (Pick a list you’d like to redo or one you missed from the archives.) Which is fair enough, I suppose, because there are over a hundred top ten’s there. I picked…
I’ve read the first three, so book #4, Only The Good Spy Young, is my next read. I actually own it. Mime is quite furious at me for not finishing these because she adores them. I won’t let her talk about it because — hellooo? Spoilers?!
My childhood didn’t involve Harry Potter, so I’m only just reading them now. I’m up to book #4, Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire. (Seeing a pattern here, are we?)
I had a rough time with Fragments (a.k.a. I was bored), so I’m kind of scared to pick up Ruins. But I want to finish this series. I’ve invested serious shipping in it.
But in all honesty, I’m glad Kira changed her shirt in Ruins, because frankly I get worried about her hygiene. For a nurse assistant, she’s a little lax in that department.
I’m technically okay to be behind on this one, because Ruin and Rising doesn’t come out until June this year. But I haven’t read Siege and Storm yet…Or any of the two billion short-story-prequels.
Okaaaay, I’m pretty badly behind on this one. I’ve only read Sisters Red. But I loved it and I can’t wait to see what Jackson Pearce does with the rest of the fairytales!
I love the names! I love the world! I love the covers! Buuut, I just never got around to the second two books. My bad.
Technically I’m not too bad here because Of Neptune only comes out this May. But there is no reason for me to have not read Of Triton! I LOVED the first book.
Also, just a note here on this progression of covers. Single. Couple. Dead. Is this saying something about relationships or girls or drowning?
Because, why not? If I’m cover-loving the Finnikin series, I sure cover-love this one too! And everyone talks about the love-triangle in Twilight! Since it’s not in the first book, I’m still miffed. (Yes, I have only read the first book.)
I don’t care if they’re children’s books! I love them! I’ve read the first 3 (after a slight mishap where I ended up reading book #2 off the spin-off series and got very, very confused). I want to see if that meanie looking tree eats everybody in the last book.
I am such a fan of The Giver and Gathering Blue…I just need to finish this series already! (The movie is coming out soon, so maybe I should have an epic read-a-thon?
And also, can we take a second to appreciate those gorgeous covers? I would love them on my shelf just to look at.
