I’m going to geek out here, blogglings. (You’ve been warned.)
What is “Waiting on Wednesday”? It’s a weekly linkup hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. You spotlight a book you can’t-wait-to-read.
After a senseless tragedy destroys his life, Will is obsessed with punishing those responsible – even if it means leaving the Ranger Corps. His worried friends must find a way to stop him taking such a dark path.
It is Halt who suggests the solution: Will must take an apprentice. The candidate Halt has in mind surprises everyone – and it’s a request Will cannot refuse.
Training a rebellious, unwilling apprentice is hard enough. But when a routine mission uncovers a shocking web of crime, Will must decide where his priorities lie – finishing his quest for revenge, or saving innocent lives?
why do i want to read it?
WOOT FOR RANGER’S APPRENTICE!
I was hooked by this series a few years ago. And then, as duty demands, I forced Mime and my older brother to read (and love) them too. We were hardcore fans! We practised walking silently! We took up archery! And now it’s all coming to an end. I’m simultaneously excited and sad.
when does it hit shelves?
cait is busy procrastinating from writing. she’s considering taking up procrastination as a full-time occupation (unfortunately, the pay is bad). whilst engaging in not-writing, she’s cutting up atlases. it’s very inspiring to cut up the world. you should try it. it’s like conquering, on a 2D scale. she also loves grapes.
