So… Christmas is over. It’s nearly 2015. I have books. I am Batman or alternately Loki.
That about covers it, doesn’t it? But I know you’ve missed me awfully in my week of silence, SO! I shall go into detail. Although (confession time) not only have I not blogged, I haven’t read any books either. But I HAVE caught up on answering comments!*
What have I been doing, you might ask? Mostly hiding. Christmas does that to me. Also, if you might turn your eclectic eyeballs in this direction, you may peruse how I’ve been working on my virtual bookshelf. I am so pleased.**
* Go me! I was so behind.
** I also have like 200+ reviews to add, so standby.

[There Will Be Lies by Nick Lake – thanks Allen & Unwin]
[Not In The Script by Amy Finnegan – thanks Allen & Unwin]
[The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater – I BOUGHT IT FOR JUST $3!! AND NOW I OWN 3 STIEFVATER BOOKS. I AM SO HAPPY!]
[Percy Jackson boxset – ohhh, my gosh, you peoples. I bought these 5 books for just $11 thanks to the Scholastic Store!]
[The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins boxset – can you believe I never owned them till now?! A reread is in order!)
I have dubbed next year “RIORDAN YEAR! HUZZAH”! because I’ve only read one Riordan book and this is an outrage. I plan to read all his books next year. And I have already read The Hunger Games (obviously) and The Scorpio Races (I have a Stiefvater obsession) but rereads are coming. I am so happy!

Christmas it not my time of year. It is my least favourite. (People! Chaos! No thanks!) BUT. Christmas does mean two weeks to my birthday and also if I feed my sister chocolate, she’ll play copious board games with me. There are positives.
Also cheesecake. Which I made and was delicious.
Also Batman socks. With little itty bitty capes that my dog thinks are perfect for chewing. (Thank you, oldest sister.)
My wonderful Parental Units* bought me the white deluxe edition of The Hunger Games AND I AM SO HAPPY! I dropped huge hints (a phrase here, which means, I literally took the Big W catalogue and pressed it to everyone’s faces). But they were covert. I did not suspect!
And Mime**? You know the sister who I mentioned scared me because she was my Secret Santa?
She made me Loki shoes.
I WILL WEAR THEM EVERYWHERE. Happy nerdy Christmas to me!
* Thank you, Parentals! I am so pleased!
** You are mildly marvellous. See?! SEE WHAT I DID THERE?! Marvel…marvellous?

Cait has a lot of books to consume. She’ll be very busy this January, obviously. But books make her happy and being happy is fabulousness. She is also planning deviously wonderful blogging things for 2015. EXCITING. Currently her left arm is dead because her puppy is asleep on it.
