I’m an author, blogger, and voracious reader in my 20s. I have been known to eat whole books for breakfast and believe pockets should be filled with stories and magic.
My blog is about: books and writing and reviews, with a little whimsy thrown in. I typically read 200 books per year.
What to expect here: reviews, comedic articles, a fair amount of cake.
My novels: A THOUSAND PERFECT NOTES came out June 2018 with Orchard / Hachette Children’s in the UK. My 2nd novel, THE BOY WHO STEALS HOUSES, came out April 2019. More details here.
Living: in QLD, Australia.
Agent: Represented by Tara Gilbert of Jennifer De Chiara Literary Agency, USA.
Official Author Bio: C.G. Drews is the author of A THOUSAND PERFECT NOTES and THE BOY WHO STEALS HOUSES. Her work has been translated into five languages and she was nominated for the 2020 CILIP Carnegie Medal and won the CBCA 2021 Honour Award. She lives in Australia, never sleeps, and believes in cake for breakfast. When not writing, she’s on twitter and instagram as @paperfury to rave about books.
