It’s tour time for Days Of Flesh & Bone by Nikita Cassidy with MTMC Tours!
If you ever had an obsession with Twilight and (a) craved more, and (b) were more into the wolves over vampires…you are going to want to get Days Of Flesh & Bone on your TBR! This is an Urban Fantasy following Nova Lennox who goes to live with an aunt and cousin she’s never heard of before, all because her mother was in a terrible accident that left Nova injured. With a complex past and traumas haunting her every step, Nova is withdrawn and depressed as she travels to this secluded island to live with her relatives. Sure her aunt is nice and her cousin, Sage, welcoming, but there’s no WiFi, she has no friends, and her only goal of college is slipping from her grasp.
But of course the island is not as it seems and we are introduced to many paranormal (and potentially dangerously intoxicating?!!) characters. I also liked the introduction of the girl gang who take Nova under their wing with instant friendliness. It’s also packed full of some super fun tropes, including some of my favourites like grump/sunshine and found family. The world also deepens and expands the more you read and it’s perfect for fans of Sarah J Maas and Jennifer L. Armentrout!
Thank you so much to MTMC Tours & Nikita Cassidy for having me on the tour and for the beautiful copy.
I couldn’t explain this attraction. It was there, lodged so deep in my very bones that it seemed like it’d become a living and breathing part of me.
When I pulled back to get a glimpse of Killian’s face, his expression was a strange, turbulent mix of hope, need, and fear.
Some of the fun tropes in Days Of Flesh & Bone below!!
When life serves up lemons, making lemonade seems easy.
But what do you do when college plans are dashed and a remote island near the Canadian border becomes home.
Nova Lennox knows one don’t befriend the locals, especially not the charming one with a cute dimple.
But as she settles into a new life with the family she’s never met, she begins to realize this seemingly idyllic place holds dark secrets.
Google Street View? Nonexistent.
A lurking wolf? Potentially dangerous.
And when a body is discovered in the woods, the real question what hides in the shadows of this mysterious island?
